A boutique experience with fantastic service Brand new hotel, fantastic rooms: spacious and beautifully designed, a massive bed, couch, desk and a great coffee machine or all very useful. Fitness center also had all the basics. Also good location and great service. A special thanks to David from the desk and the manager of the housekeeping for resolving issues and being extremely helpful. Overall just highly recommend

Visit the bar, skip the stay This place is gorgeous from the outside and the lobby/bar area is super cool. All the feminist-themed art is really impressive and there's even a pool table and giant-size "lite brite." Unfortunately, the charm stops there. The room was teeny tiny, and the weirdest part is that the shower is lit from inside, with glass walls, and it's smack in the center of the room. You can't see into it, but when you turn on the light in the bathroom, it shines through the shower and lights up the whole room. This is not ideal if one person needs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night or just wakes up earlier than the other person in the morning. Also, the hotel claims to have all of these "green" features but I saw no evidence of that. There wasn't even a recycling bin in the room for bottles and cans.
If you're in town, visit this place just to check it out. Maybe they have bigger (more expensive) rooms with a better layout, but don't stay in one of the standard rooms.

Lovely and accommodating hotel I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Zena. It's in a great location - walkable to a number of places. The staff were all very accommodating and welcoming and the decor is lovely. The artwork on my floor was stunning - seems like lovely little touches everywhere. If I'm back in DC, I will try to stay here agian.

Very cool hotel, artistic, awesome staff I came to DC on business and EZEKIEL made my stay 1000% better. He helped me to resolve a problem, and went above and beyond. Wonderful hotel, VERY COOL interior, artistic, great linen and mattress. Very good restaurant, overall a great vibe! I will be back!! All the staff were above average in friendliness &professional.

Exceptional customer service Outstanding hotel stay! Prior to the trip they answered all our questions easily and quickly via email. The customer service was exceptional! The hotel bar had excellent food and fairly priced. They even had champagne in our room, chocolates and hand warmers complimentary. We felt very welcomed!
