Great new Hyatt Place. Excellent location…20 minutes from the airport Great new Hyatt Place. Excellent location…20 minutes from the airport. Excellent setting…walkable to food, shopping and entertainment options. Location is perfect. Staff were warm and attentive, a very nice breakfast offered every morning. Property is well maintained and felt very clean & safe. This will be our go-to when we return to the Tahoe/Reno area.

Noise disturbance at night Our experience with the front desk team was excellent from start to finish. Abril handled our check-in and was warm, friendly, and efficient. She made us feel immediately welcomed and well taken care of. When it was time to check out, Kelton assisted us and was just as helpful. He quickly printed a copy of my folio and went the extra mile by offering bottled water before we headed to the airport. Both interactions left a very positive impression. The room felt clean and refreshingly new, which we really appreciated. The sofa was in great condition—firm and supportive—unlike the more worn-out ones we’ve encountered at other Hyatt Place locations. It was also a thoughtful touch to have extra linens and a pillow already available in the cabinet, saving us the trouble of calling housekeeping. And the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made the room even more comfortable throughout our stay. Overall, we genuinely had a good time during our stay. One small suggestion for the breakfast would be to offer a wider variety of fresh fruits. The only fruits available seemed to be those intended as yogurt toppings, and it would have been nice to have more standalone options as part of the breakfast selection. One aspect we were especially looking forward to was enjoying the pool, so it was a bit disappointing to learn that it was unavailable due to pending inspection permits. While we understand these matters are sometimes beyond the hotel’s control, it would have been helpful to know in advance. Additionally, we did encounter some noise-related issues during our stay that made it difficult to get a good night's rest. On two separate nights, we were woken up late at night (around 11 pm) and in the early morning hours by loud footsteps coming from the unit above us. While we understand this was not hotel's fault, the noise was quite disruptive. In fact, we recorded one instance because the sound was so jarring, it even caused the ceiling-mounted room divider to creak with each step. This was especially challenging for me, as I had noted in my reservation that I’m a light sleeper and was hoping for a quieter room. Furthermore, we really appreciated the hotel's location—being right next to Shayden Summit Plaza made it incredibly convenient. The plaza offers a great selection of restaurants and shops (i.e. Trader Joe's), all within easy walking distance, which added a lot of value and flexibility to our stay.

Get away weekend to Tahoe! Nice newer hotel that has a lot offer and close to shops and restaurants also Reno and Tahoe with very nice outdoor fire pit and seating for lounging with a nice bar.

Great location, breakfast, and pillows Great location with Trader Joe's in the parking lot, an easy walk. Burger Me was a great place to eat and not too expensive, and only 100 yards away from front door. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing, great buffet of eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, yogurt, fruit, cereal. Variety of items changed daily. The pillows were awesome and views from 4th floor are nice. Staff was friendly. Would stay again.

Exceeded expectations This is a great hotel- clean, quiet, and an amazing breakfast was offered. Very close location to many shopping opportunities, and just a short walk to Handels ice cream!
