Is there mass transit from Amtrak in Boston to your town?

That's a little bit complicated but I will do my best here: The MBTA commuter rail purple line to Newburyport/Rockport (you take the Rockport arm of it) comes up to the area. The closest stop, about 3 miles away, is actually in the next town over (which is also closer to Boston), Manchester-by-the-Sea, but there is no public transport from them to here except taxis. Still, I recommend this as the easiest way to get here. There are "CATA" buses from the Gloucester central stop, but you have to change lines, and the second bus line, the one that comes to Magnolia, doesn't run very often. Here is a link to the MBTA commuter rail schedule for the Newburyport/ Rockport line: http://www.mbta.com/schedules_and_maps/rail/lines/?route=NBRYROCK Here is a link to the CATA bus map and schedules. The Magnolia bus is one of the yellow lines. http://www.canntran.com/ I hope this is helpful. You can always phone us if you want more detailed instructions. 978-525-3642
