The hotel side is comprised of 324 suites that comfortably accommodate adventurous families, while the indoor waterpark is home to 11 different aquatic attractions that hold something for both kids and adults. A transparent, texlon roof encloses this tropical paradise, which is heated to a consistent summer temperature of 84 degrees year-round.

  • View from above: Take in the sights and enjoy refreshments from one of the waterpark's deluxe cabanas, furnished with a love seat, chairs, and coffee table. Reservations required.
  • Attractions in Monticello: Right next door is the Resorts World Casino with over 2,000 slots and a poker room, and The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, site of the famous 1969 Woodstock Festival, is about a half-hour drive away.

Monticello, New York: One of the largest villages in the county

Those who are already fed up with the hustle and bustle of major cities may take a deep breath and truly unwind in Monticello, New York. However, there's plenty of attractions here, too. One of the most notable landmarks is the village's Monticello Raceway that attracts visitors from various parts of the country. Now the raceway has turned into a racino which hosts both electronic slot machines and horse racing. What's more, the neighboring area features Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival. It's also fine if guests start missing more noisy places as New York is just about 100 miles away.

Not a happy experience Lots of things to do better 1) i texted and en we received a response. 2) the small pool and jungle was closed for 3 hours! 3) we received a text that the lazy river would be close 2:30-4:30. They closed it 2:30 pm and NEVER open it. Such a huge inconvenience. 4) please make sure all staff is aware of all procedures. While doing the water slides, one staff would say “one line only” while others would say “two lines”. People trying to use the kraken and jiggerin was horrible whenever the staff would say two lines. It created hostility on the lines since people going to jiggering would try to push others. 5) we have a pic of two employees just chatting on the kraken…. Like the traffic light was green but they were just gossiping… 6) the room was dirty when we arrived. Bathroom was still dirty and i found a blood stain on the toilet. There was like tomato sauce stain on the floor for the carpet by the bunk beds. 7) since last time we came in we saw flies on the EAT EAT, we opted to not eat at resort this time. Never received confirmation that something was done to fix the issue since i texted/message CS. 8) carpets on pink floor were dirty. 9) Hi! I purchased the “waterproof” case on the gift shop. I used it for 2 hours. And look at my case. It got water inside!!! It was locked correctly and i even went to the gift shop to show it to the staff Jamie and she helped me take my phone out full of water. Since Jamie was unable to do a return. She asked her manager. Manager denied it as well. Completely ridiculous. So many bad things on this trip. Def won’t return and my yelp elite review will drop from 4 to 1 stars. Never received a response from my text messages as well. Why ask how’s the service if you will not assist in making it better Would we come back?…. I don’t know tbh. I am leaving with a bad experience unfortunately.

Awful dirty hotel. Great waterpark Do not stay at this hotel. It is materially run down and not clean at all. Its like there is no cleaning staff. You can see the same things on the carpet for 3 days in a row. No room cleaning at all, not even fresh towels. Thank godness for the waterpark and arcade. Kids love it. Best for a one day or one night trip, not multiple days. Also staff isn’t helpful, we waited for the free shuttle to the casino for almost 1 hour and it never came. When we first asked, we were told to just wait outside. Then after 40 min, I went back in to enquire and then Ive been told by another receptionist that they needed to call. Ultimately the shuttle never came so we took an uber there. Im 8 months pregnant with a toddler, I would have expected the ladies at the front desk to at least treat me with some respect and not have me wait an hour for nothing. Really rude.
