A transparent, texlon roof encloses this tropical paradise, which is heated to a consistent summer temperature of 84 degrees year-round.

  • Attractions in Monticello: Right next door is the Resorts World Casino with over 2,000 slots and a poker room, and The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, site of the famous 1969 Woodstock Festival, is about a half-hour drive away.

Monticello, New York: One of the largest villages in the county

Those who are already fed up with the hustle and bustle of major cities may take a deep breath and truly unwind in Monticello, New York. However, there's plenty of attractions here, too. One of the most notable landmarks is the village's Monticello Raceway that attracts visitors from various parts of the country. Now the raceway has turned into a racino which hosts both electronic slot machines and horse racing. What's more, the neighboring area features Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival. It's also fine if guests start missing more noisy places as New York is just about 100 miles away.

Shout out to Isaac at the Arcade, thumbs down to Brandon at Mez Bar. It was nice! Clean and quite a few activities for kids. Expensive, but thats expected. Food options are not great. We ended up going out to eat for better options. The only issue is with Brandon at the Mez bar. He is racist, totally looked at me and went to serve others to both sides of me. Even my 13 yr old daughter noticed this. I went to the other side and another girl helped me. She asked me if I waiting on other side. I said yes and that dude ignored me. She said she has heard that before. Other than this it was good. I wasnt going to let the racist guy ruin my family trip. I didnt want to wasted my time talking to management, they just wont get mine or any of my friends' business. They have plenty otherwise. Special shout out to Isaac at the Arcade. He was so nice and made me forget about the jerk at the bar. Thanks Isaac!

Overpriced and disappointing The place is disappointing and overpriced for what it is. The water park was overcrowded to the point of being impossible to enjoy. People were piled on top of each in the heated pool with no place to move and the lazy river (which is one of the main attractions) was closed for half the time we were there. We did enjoy the waterslides but the rest was underwhelming. The staff was polite but clearly couldn’t keep up. I pre-ordered two of the special packages they advertise (wine, cheese and cupcakes) to be delivered when we arrive as a surprise for my husband and my kids. Not only were the items not there when we checked in, it took three trips to the front desk to get the order brought up to the room, which finally happened on the next day __‍♀️. We found used band aids from the previous room occupants (in the ice bucket of all places). There’s no room cleaning unless you pay for it separately. They won’t even take the trash out of your room, so people just pile it up in the hallways by their doors. I wouldn’t go back.

Visit Tracy at ceramic place Tracy at ceramic place was great with the kids. Place is a good time to spend before waterslides open. We went here after breakfast to kill some time before going to the waterpark. Give Tracy a promotion for the patience and friendliness that she has with the kids.
