Unforgettable Experience at Kimpton Mas Olas We toured Kimpton Mas Olas as a potential venue for our wedding, and from the moment we arrived, we were completely blown away. This property is truly something special—beautiful, thoughtful, and full of soul. The location is absolutely breathtaking. Set in a serene, natural landscape with stunning views, it feels like a secluded paradise while still being easily accessible. It’s the perfect balance of peaceful and convenient. The atmosphere is magical—elegant yet relaxed, luxurious without feeling pretentious. Every corner feels intentional and beautifully designed, creating a calm, romantic, and inspiring vibe that’s perfect for a wedding or a getaway. The rooms are gorgeous: spacious, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail feels elevated, from the décor to the layout, making it feel both luxurious and welcome. The cleanliness is impeccable. The entire property—from rooms to common areas—was spotless and extremely well maintained. You can tell cleanliness and care are a top priority. The noise level- very peaceful and quiet. The resort feels like a true escape, perfect for relaxation and intimate moments without distractions. THE STAFF DESERVES A STANDING OVATION. Everyone was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. From the tour to every interaction, we felt welcomed, valued, and taken care of. Their hospitality alone makes this place unforgettable!!! The amenities are top-tier, and the food… absolutely incredible. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and memorable. It’s clear the culinary experience here is just as much a highlight as the property itself. Thank you chef Sandro. Our final thoughts: Kimpton Mas Olas exceeded every expectation. Whether for a wedding, celebration, or a luxury escape, this resort offers an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, heart, and exceptional service. We left feeling inspired and in love with the place—and we can’t wait to return.

We would give Mas Olas six stars if possible! As the Kimpton Mas Olas has become our go-to destination to celebrate special occasions, Cecilia booked a stay there to celebrate my birthday and the entire staff at this amazing resort went out of their way to make sure it was an unforgettable experience. General Manager Armando personally greeted us as we arrived at the reception area and remembered from our last stay that we told him that we were going to return for my birthday. His leadership and oversight of Mas Olas clearly takes the service experience to another level, as the entire staff was across the board so pleasant and eager to please. We received a generous upgrade to one of their beachside villas, complete with a private deck, plunge pool and spacious bathroom which boasted not only a huge soaking tub but indoor and outdoor showers. Special thanks to the service staff at the resort's first class restaurants Centro (Juan Carlos and Daniela H), Botanica (Dino and Josue) as well as our old friend Jonathan from Kahal. Armando and Chef Sandro prepared a special birthday dessert at each our our dinners. We also enjoyed a massage and the top notch facilities at their amazing spa, special thanks to our incredibly skilled masseuses Brenda and Patricia. As Kimpton and IHG superfans, Cecilia and I visit many of their properties each year and Mas Olas sits alone at the top of our list of favorites, as this resort checks all of the boxes. We would give six stars if possible! Thank you again to Armando, Chef Sandro and the entire staff at Mas Olas for not only rolling out the red carpet for us but making us feel like long time VIP guests!

Unforgettable Sunsets and Stay at the GORGEOUS Kimpton Mas Olas Property Gorgeous property on the beach in El Pescadero. Staff is attentive and friendly; the guest is always the commitment and priority. Grounds are immaculate; a Sonoran paradise with cactus and vegetable gardens throughout. Stunning sunsets and beach at the reach and unforgettable. Saw humpbacked whales breaching from our room! The three restaurants always surpass with fresh entrees and all farm-to- table throughout with gentle service; loved the weekend breakfast buffet. Property is close to Todos Santos with its authentic arts scene as well as Cerritos Beach for a local and relaxed surf venue. Fabulous stay at Kimpton Mas Olas.

Perfect Way to Start the New Year We return again and again to Mas Olas as each visit we are mesmerized by its beauty. This property is more than just a resort. Mas Olas has so many working elements that all come together in a cohesive experience. We are encouraged to slow down and observe our surroundings. Every detail is aesthetically designed - created with a focus on beauty using color, shape, balance and texture to create a feeling of well being. Entering the welcoming area with the original Mexican art works, cool wall sconces and the smell of the cascading jasmine starts us breathing deep. We take our time walking thru the cacti garden and observe all the varieties and personalities of these succulents. We then pass the vegetable and herb gardens and look forward to the restaurant’s creations with this bounty. The flower gardens are a feast for the eyes in color and scents - many roses, hibiscus, passion fruit, bougainvillea and huge hedges of my favorite flower plumbago gifting a beautiful shade of pale blue. The property spreads out the rooms and landscapes them so they blend into the natural environment with many variety of palms, flowering vines and ground cover. The rooms are simple yet luxurious. I think there is no bad room on property. Every detail has been thought of and executed with extreme care. We enjoyed an Ocean Front Penthouse as enjoy the expansive view of both the endless San Peditro beach and majestic Sierra Laguna mountains. There are no televisions, just the sounds of waves crashing, birds singing, whales slapping and rays splashing. Lunches and margaritas by Centro and Kahal pools so good. Their fish tacos on homemade tortillas so fresh and chips, salsa and guacamole delish. The dinner restaurants - Botanica and Kahal are excellent. We so enjoy Kayla with itsAsian twist and glorious sunset views. Chef Sandro is such a creative and warm spirit and his foods reflect. We asked if there was lobster and the next evening Sandro had them for us! We now are addicted to chocolate clams, so sweet and tender. The waiters Manuel and Jonathan took excellent care of us. They are very knowledgeable about the menu. Mas Olas motivates us to slow down, take time to look around, listen, smell, breathe, feel the sun, truly taste food, notice all the shades of blue in the ocean - engage with the environment and the super staff. Yes, more than a resort - a true Gestalt Experience that leads us to leave refreshed and very, very happy!

Unbeatable setting, gorgeous grounds and beach There are many 5s about this hotel. The beach is a 5 star. The numerous pool areas are a 5. The restaurants, particularly Botanica, are a 5. The accommodations and exterior/interior design are a 5. And of course, the extensive and varied gardens are a 5. What holds us back from an all around 5? Compared to other truly 5 star hotels we’ve stayed at around the world, the service had a number of misses. At the pool area near the beach, for example, towels were never picked up; the lounge chairs had terry covers on them which was great, but they were not changed and refreshed between guests. The stack of towels were quickly depleted and not proactively refilled. The pool bar had a long wait for drinks, etc. our wait for breakfast one morning was almost an hour. On all these front, it just boiled down to staffing — 1 or 2 more individuals helping out would have made a huge difference. All that said, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others. The pools themselves are awesome — very well heated and the giant hot tub right on the sand was fantastic. The views are truly unbeatable and it’s a beach you can literally walk on for miles. Great gym, excellent spa.
