Best hotel experience ever! Arrived at about 5pm after driving 2 hours from SD. Hotel check in was easy and they made our family feel welcome. We brought an additional family member and were able to upgrade our room for an additional $70 which worked out perfectly for what we needed. I was super impressed with the fact that we were allowed to use our parking pass for the hotel until midnight the next day so we saved about $30 not having to park at the Knotts Berry Farm Parking lot because Knotts Hotel was within walking distance to the main amusement park entrance. Hotel Front Desk also let me know that if families reserve directly with Knotts Hotel they can purchase Knotts Berry Farm Tickets for $52 each which is $10 less than the online price. Overall super pleased with our stay! Will definitley go back soon!

Serious safety concern We stayed here as a family and experienced a serious safety concern that was not handled appropriately.
The connecting door between rooms had virtually no sound insulation, I could clearly hear the neighboring adults' normal conversation, and the kids screaming and electronics. This was not the other family's fault, but a room quality issue. When I reported it, it was escalated as a security issue anyway. The manager later told me they always suggest guests open the connecting door and use pillows or blankets for sound insulation, which was concerning.
More importantly, later that morning we were unable to open our room door to exit for several minutes. We tried repeatedly, a staff member witnessed it, and I called the hotel operator while we were still unable to get out. The door only opened after significant force was used. Being temporarily unable to exit a hotel room, especially while traveling with children, is a serious life-safety issue.
Despite this, we were later told there was nothing wrong with the door and were offered only a partial discount. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share this so other guests are aware and so this issue is addressed before someone experiences it during an actual emergency.

Beautiful, Friendly and Convenient The Knott's Hotel has wonderful service and couldn't be any more conveniently located to Knott's Berry Farm. The staff are very friendly, kind and professional. The Christmas decor was beautiful.
Tip, if you think you can go 2x in a year, get a Knott's Berry Farm Annual Pass and save 15% on you hotel, entrance, food and gifts/souvenirs.

Okay if the price is right. Obviously a great location to the park, but the park does not open that early, so you could probably stay elsewhere if you don't mind a little risk for how close you can park. Hotel was pretty and well maintained. Service was excellent. Room was lovely and the furnishings were well thought out, a single queen, but very small. Be aware the balconies are fake for photos, there are actually no balconies. Only real complaint, would NEVER pay for the early arrival again, as was charged, but never notified it was approved. Also, the buffet is okay, but no more than Denny's quality, we would rather pay for the real breakfast menu which is roughly the same when you add coffee etc. but better quality. Not sure would stay again, but then again, Knott's is not a park we'd likely visit often, it's just too small to warrant more than a day or day and a half at most even during the holidays when they have a lot of entertainment.
