Los Cabos—which in Spanish means “the capes”—is the name used to refer collectively to the two Mexican towns at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Cabo San Lucas is often thought of as the wilder and more widely known of the two. But its sister city, San José del Cabo, is both larger and more well-preserved, with Spanish colonial architecture sandwiched between ocean dunes and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains.

Secluded nature reserves abound in San José del Cabo—Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park shelters one of North America’s only hard-coral reefs right beside Bahia Los Frailes, a bay filled with a colony of barking sea lions. Egrets, brown pelicans, and hundreds of rare and exotic waterfowl make their homes at the estuary’s bird sanctuary on the peninsula’s southern tip. Nearby, La Playita’s beach has both a swimming area and a separate spot to watch fishers bring in the day’s catch.

trying to save a buck? Seriously, if you’re thinking about booking this resort to save a couple bucks, DONT! Spend a few more dollars and stay elsewhere! Food rating: 4/10 You are NOT ALLOWED to dine in the restaurants the first night. Buffet only! The buffet has very small selection. Mostly rice, beans, pasta. The bbq rib at “the grill” restaurant is COLD. (surprisingly was better at the buffet!) Room service is an extra charge of $150 MXN Pesos! & You are only allowed 1 starter, 1 entree & 1 dessert per person! Only decent thing to eat was breakfast at the buffet & the fish tacos at the poolside cafè. Everything else is mediocre at best. Location rating: 4/10 It is a $25 uber ride (one way) to san lucas! Stay closer to san lucas if you want to go out and eat! Safety rating: 5/10 There are no guards at the entrance like other resorts! It is open to the public. Service rating: 1/10 If you do not speak spanish, they will ignore you! One of the evenings we dined at Risotto, the waiter did not take our order until more than 30 minutes later! Other people who came after us got their food already! Room rating: 7/10 Other than finding a HUGE roach in our room, the location was good. Right next to the pool with a view of the ocean. The furnishings need to be maintained. They will not let you check in before 3pm! The staff are extremely slow at doing that also.

Bar drinks Julian Martin is the best bartender of the hotel … we call him Hurracaine or remolino in Spanish because he is always moving like a machine delivering the best drinks at a super sonic speed … there is never a wait time for a drink when Julian Martin is in the house He will always keep you entertained and hydrated ___

Just okay__‍♀️, seriously….just okay Just okay. My rating is based off of the limited ability for food choices within an all Inclusive hotel. There are certain days of the week when restaurants are open for guest and the buffet is less than optimal… Sorry guys, you’re better off eating outside the hotel. Upon checking in, they atttemoted to offer us a room other than what we paid for and seemed upset that we wanted what we paid for…ocean view. Secondly, Why the hell did we opt to attend a presentation, wait for this….we went and was there for two hours and fifth teen minutes and never got what they promised us, as the Spa was booked and is closed on Sunday and was told we would get two tickets to an activity, then said they would give us a discounted rate._. Needless to say, it was trick to sign up guest..AVOID the presentation by all means, the math did not add up and time was wasted from our vacation.
