Orlando, Florida: World-Famous Theme Parks and Cultural Surprises

Located in the center of Florida, Orlando may be forever associated with the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks—the world’s most-visited entertainment resort. Spanning roughly 30,000 acres, it encompasses four theme parks, two water parks, five golf courses, and the Disney Springs® Area. There’s no shortage of things to do here: begin your day by boarding a rocket-shaped three-seater that climbs to 180 feet before entering a deep black tunnel and racing past stars, satellites, and constellations. Walk across the park to sample Moroccan cuisine for lunch, or ride a dune buggy through a haunted mansion. Before heading back to the hotel, take in the nightly fireworks, laser, and water show. One of the most popular family destinations in the world, sunny Orlando is also home to Universal Orlando—which includes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—SeaWorld, and Gatorland.

Those hoping to shake up the typical theme-park-dominated itinerary can head into downtown Orlando's vibrant arts district. The neighborhood boasts venues such as CityArts Factory, a multifaceted patchwork of gallery spaces, and SAK Comedy Lab, which hosts family-friendly improv shows five nights a week.

Perfect home from home Our 2nd stay here now and just as good as our first. Our apartment was very clean and well stocked up. Yes the decor is very dated however that doesn’t bother us. The kids loved being able to go on the ship slide as it was being refurbished the last time we came. Location is perfect, 25 mins from universal 10-15 to Disney Free shuttle buses to parks, however we hired a car so don’t use them. We cannot wait for our next trip to our home from home in 2027.

Great place to stay I’ve stayed here 4-5 times and I love the location. The property is little tired but we still love it. So much so we booked again for march, whilst we were still there. The staff are friendly and helpful. This place is everything you want for a great holiday.

Brilliant Stayed here for 3 weeks - 2 adults and 2 kids in a 2 bedroom suite. The master bedroom was a good size with a large bathroom area (separate shower & bath, both large). The second bedroom also had plenty room and 2 double beds. Main bathroom had a bath with shower over it. The living area had a dining table and a living room area. Plenty places to sit and a smart TV. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Our balcony was a good size and directly opposite WDW area so we were able to watch the fireworks at night. The pool was lovely and always plenty seats/towels available. We chose the hotel mostly for location, we visited WDW most days and the drive was rarely more than 10 minutes. Would 100% stay here again when visiting Orlando.
