I was just looking for a cool hotel experience for this quick one nighter with my kids. It was amazing! I’m sure the Legoland park is fun, but all of the experiences involved in the hotel stay alone was worth the trip. There was so much for my kids to see and do and we actually got to spend downtime together. Skip the park stay at the hotel. 😉 it’s worth the money.

LEGOLAND is a great experience I just can’t help but say how much I love LEGOLAND. I used to enjoy my trips to Disney but once I had kids we just didn’t feel magic. Honestly it seemed like maybe it was more catered to young adults. We’d spend a small fortune and leave feeling frustrated and tired… then, we took the kids to LEGOLAND. It really is magical. It’s what you should expect from every similar vacation resort. This is our second trip here and while many people are frustrated about limited shows, my kids aren’t into it, and we also travel during quiet season so I don’t expect the same experience. I love walking about 100ft from the hotel into the park. The park itself is just the right size and my 7yo already knows the landmarks he wants to revisit several times a day like the mini figure wall. Lines haven’t been bad for our visits and really seem to fluctuate at different times of day. Food is actually decent for the price and many items aren’t just fancy bland sugar and oil… Apple fries!!! Pro tip… get the caramel ice cream separately and dip the fries, because it gives you more time before its soup. There’s also plenty of vegetarian, varietal, healthy options that are tasty… we are so sick of the chicken fingers, fries, and burgers that everywhere else offers (but they have those too). I love the bao buns and my kids really enjoyed the boba juices. The hotel is great as long as you aren’t expecting 4 stars. It’s for kids!!! The lobby is a kids dream with Lego pits and play structures. The rooms are really immersive. As an adult it might feel tacky, but again they cater to children. The rooms have a scavenger hunt with a Lego build and treat! I think the closet area needs the help of an interior designer and some revamping but I don’t think many people book long stays. There’s so many building areas for kids to keep busy, staff is overall helpful and friendly (and diverse!) and the older hotel staff is especially kind and patient with younger children. Adults can find lots of areas to relax (Smugglers) while kids watch Lego movies, build, and play or catch a show. Breakfast at Shipwrecks is really good and has been included on our stays which is massive for a family of 5. Not to say there’s much special about it, but it’s a tasty breakfast platter with eggs, sausage/bacon, fruit, coffee, and something kid friendly like pancakes or French toast. The breakfast alone makes the hotel room a steal for us. The best part is parents of younger kids can sip some coffee and enjoy a sit down meal while the kids build in the restaurant cove. In the evenings the hotel offers a free build class and you get to keep your build! My 7yo loves the challenge of trying to figure out the build before the instruction starts. It might not be challenging enough for older kids though. There’s two onsite heated pools and a water slide. My kids kind of love the hotel almost as much as the theme park and can’t wait to return to the hotel. They haven’t asked to go anywhere else. They haven’t once said they were bored. They haven’t complained. My kids have lived their second stay as much as the first despite some major changes. I look forward to the park being fully operational for our next visit!

Go here off season with kids 4-10! Stayed at the pirate hotel, not the most luxurious place but caters to kids and very convenient. Pool with slide, Lego pits, two family friendly restaurants and pj dance party were the highlights. Lego land and peppa pig are right next to each other and great for ages 4-10. Overall very pleasant experience and so much fun for the kids!
