I was nervous about this reservation at first because I had a hard time getting in touch with the hotel after I booked to request a crib. I was given 3 different numbers from customer service but no one answers. I was traveling with a 9mo baby so I tried to cancel but I passed the cancellation period. Anyways, I am glad we didn’t cancel. Once we arrived at the resort they were very accommodating!

Fair for the price Pros: - Location to the Legoland park is of course the only reason to stay here, walk out the front door and you're at the entrance. - Big rooms, the room was large, we got a Kingdom room and the kids loved the bunks and access to their own TV, the bathroom was large and the toiletries included were cute and smelled lovely, I liked that they included bubble bath. Cons: - Pool has overly strict life guards, you couldn't go 3 mins without hearing the whistle for the most basic of things, one kid wasn't even allowed to put his head under the water with his Father, ludicrous. It became so annoying we left the area. - Pool is WAY too small and the stairs to the slide was burning kids feet - The place is a ZOO with parents not controlling their kids at all, I've honestly heard less noise at daycare facilities. There is duplo all over the floors from kids throwing it all over the lobby, kids climbing on everything even though the signs ask not to. Screaming kids everywhere - not at all relaxing or a good place when you're trying to teach your own kids manners. - Nothing besides Legoland is in walking distance, if you don't have a car you can't go anywhere unless you get a rideshare. Neutral: - Breakfast, it was horrible the first day but great the second. First day the server we had was terrible, very slow and didn't explain anything to us and the food was cold. Second day our server was wonderful, bought us hot fresh food and replaced pancakes when we ran out as well as drinks. So very hit and miss. - Our room was missing the padlock to the treasure chest when we checked in, and when i let front desk know because I didn't want to be charged for it - there is a long list of prices in the room telling you what you'll have to pay if anything is missing, she looked at me like I was a suspect and possibly stole it?? It made me uncomfortable. - We didn't eat at the hotel for lunch or dinner, the prices were quite expensive we got doordash and the food was great from local restaurants. Overall we have "done" legoland and won't return, the park itself was cute and nice but my kids are 9 and 7 and by the time we go back will have aged out. I'm glad we went and I did like our stay but there are lots of areas the hotel could improve.

Nice property and the location can’t be beat. This is was our fourth time staying here. We always stay at the pirate Island side of the hotel so I really can’t compare but it is always in great condition, very well-maintained, and the rooms were always immaculate. This time was no exception. Our rooms were spotless And have very cool theming. The proximity, being able to walk to the Legoland entrance, is definitely the key seller here. Because it was a holiday weekend it was a little bit crowded but still very well-maintained. Both pools were open, the restaurants were busy but not overwhelmed. We checked out on Tuesday after the holiday, breakfast was awesome that day because it was so quiet. This is a great hotel and definitely worth to stay if you’re visiting this park. I definitely want to mention Jose from the skyline restaurant who remembered us from a visit several months ago. We also had an exceptional check-in experience with Nancy at the front desk. We were traveling with another family member who required an accessible room, she was very helpful in giving us close to one another and ensuring that she had the proper accommodations. The activities for kids at this hotel is one of the reasons we stay here. It definitely sets this trip apart from others. They honor if their way to make sure the kids have fun (and the parents get a good night’s sleep) This was our first time trying breakfast at shipwreck. The food was great and service was excellent.
