I was nervous about this reservation at first because I had a hard time getting in touch with the hotel after I booked to request a crib. I was given 3 different numbers from customer service but no one answers. I was traveling with a 9mo baby so I tried to cancel but I passed the cancellation period. Anyways, I am glad we didn’t cancel. Once we arrived at the resort they were very accommodating!

Things Are Changing The rooms are beautifully themed but they are not two rooms. There is no door that separates or gives privacy to the adult sleeping area. It is all just one area with a single bathroom. The smores are done over a gas fire pit in the middle of a park type area, next to the mini golf, no camp fire feel what so ever. The heat coming from the gas flame, mixed with the short sticks that are given, is super hot so not worth trying in the summer months in the Fl heat. You can't hold your hand close enough to the fire to melt your marshmallow without burning your hand. Bring mini figures with you to trade. All the staff in the hotel and the park have figures/lego people to trade. The all day drink cups are completely worth it at the park so get that in your package. Be careful to fill them for your younger kids because the cups have a chip in them, if a smaller child makes a mistake and doesn't completely fill the cup you have to wait 10 minutes before you can finish or start the process again. A lot of things have changed at the hotel with the new ownership, like the children no longer get a fresh package of legos each day you stay. They only get legos on the first day now. You use to buy a complete package with parking, breakfast, everything included and pay for that knowing you wouldn't see a charge for anything later. Not anymore and don't give them a different card than what you want your room charges on because they don't complete your charges until check-out and will charge the last card used not the card you paid to book the room and approved them to pay for the room with. They are still a cashless business so be prepared for that (hotel and park). Book master builder classes in advance because they fill up fast. The woman who teaches these classes is amazing and has been there for years now. My kids just love her and beg me to book classes, even the older ones (they are 12 now & still enjoy her classes). Dance party in the lobby every night is fun for the younger kids. The older kids don't care to go to anymore. They dance in their PJs so bring cool PJ to show off with their favorites on them. The lobby is like a playground and like a playground, not every parent watches their child so watch yours to be sure they don't get hit with a lego or something if your worried about rough housing. It does happen, this hotel is a kids hotel-built and geared toward kids so they kind of go wild and I've seen a few "Karen" type mothers get a bit sidewise about it as well. Elevators have music and lights in them and the kids love to dance in them. The pools have floating lego foams in them and the kids can build stuff to play in the pool with. We have build a raft, a castle, all kinds of stuff. There use to be more to do at the hotel, actives throughout the day but new ownership has cut that out. Only the pool, dance party, master builder classes, and evening stuff after 6pm. Mostly geared toward the little kids (5-9 yrs old). I didn't see a single meet and greet live lego figure over the entire time I was there at the hotel. The dragon has been broken for years and doesn't blow smoke. It does look cool but the ad with the kid CEO is way off/false. The brick food is more like upscale prep school lunchroom food, where the shipwreck is finer dinning. Breakfast is good but they have lowered the quality and choices. The coffee is very acidic and they don't have any other choices of caffeine (no breakfast teas). If your a tea drinker, bring your own tea bags and ask for hot water. I gave a three star because for the money, the value just isn't there anymore. It is starting to go down hill with the new ownership, not what it use to be. It use to be an excitement every day with the new package of legos, new actives to do, people/figures to meet in the lobby, excited lively staff that got involved when you asked them about pop badges and Mr.Gold, treasure hunts throughout the hotel and staff paid attention to the birthday badge, said "happy birthday" everywhere we went. It isn't like that anymore. This is the first year we've came and not a single staff member told my son happy birthday without me prompting them, even with his badge on. I had to request they sing him happy birthday when they brought out desert to remind the waiter it was his birthday. Every other year he has felt so important, which is why he request his birthday week always be spent here so he can feel like a king. royal pain ; )

Be aware of their website packages Be aware: Fun place for kids, but the Kids Eat Play Free offer is misleading. It only covers 1 child per adult — we had to pay AED 260 per extra child, not AED 215 as mentioned in the hotel’s previous reply. Website isn’t clear at all. Disappointing lack of transparency.

Parents tolerate it children love it For kids this place is the greatest place ever! For adults it’s a bit underwhelming. First, there are Lego bins everywhere, so kids can build to their hearts content. There is no adult supervision. We witnessed older kids throwing blocks in the air in walls with great force missing young children by millimeters. Parents and staff ignoring this. Next parents by swords and shields as kids battle without supervision. The hotel is loud even the elevator blasts 70 disco music. Not appreciated before am coffee. Next breakfast is family style we found pirate cove much calmer than the brick restaurant. The breakfast is the same every morning except for the rotation of small waffles one day , small pancakes the next and French toast sticks the 3 rd day . Eggs sausage and biscuits bacon and potatoes are every day with a small plate of fruit. The coffee is awful, the eggs were cold every day of our 3 day visit. It is the only restaurant on site. The rooms are nice but in need of new paint and updating. The good thing is that the park entrance is literally out the front door. The pool is great with a water slide. The staff is very nice from front desk to wait staff. This place has so many on hands staff and if you have a problem you can call or text and staff will solve it. Kids love it. Parents hate it but tolerate it because the kids smiles make it worth the hassles
