Loved St Thomas and Loved LimeTree We went as a family of 6 in late June for 7 days. Our party consisted of my husband and I in one room and our daughter, her fiance, my son and his wife in one room. We reserved 2 Studios w/lofts and we had plenty of room. Each studio had a king bed and a queen pull-out couch. Our rooms were on the 2nd floor and the ice maker right outside our room, which was very handy. The loft king bed was amazing and comfortable. And I do love a good Wyndham bed. Staff helped us get a luggage to our rooms. The check-in process was easy. I had called ahead and asked that our rooms be close together and they were right next door to each other. Just be aware of the energy fees charged to resorts by St Thomas. We knew about the fees before we arrived. We spent our days at the pool or the beach. Many have complained about the beach being rocky. Invest in a pair of Teva Sandals and you'll be just fine. The pool and beach were never 'packed' and we always felt we had plenty of room and plenty of pool/beach chairs. My kids spent quite a bit of time at the swim-up bar and they seemed to enjoy the bartenders and the drinks. We ate dinner at the Lanai twice. It is a little pricey but we all enjoyed everything we ate. My kids ate their for lunch a couple of times. The Lanai does need a few more people on staff, it's hard to see your hostess, your wait staff, your chef, and your bartender as being the same person. And this went for all tables, not just ours. The resort had a small market where you could get coffee, a pastry, a few groceries, soda and beer, and order food off a small menu. We all went there everyday for something or another. The resort had many activities for their guests. We used the BBQ grills 3-4 times. They had cornhole, a very nice tennis court, pickleball courts, basketball, and a huge chess game. The grounds were beautiful and well-kept. The cleaning staff, pool bar staff and the Lanai are all contracted employees. They are not owned or ran by Wyndham. With this, we had a couple of problems. There were no towels in our room when we checked in but they brought them immediately. Between our 2 rooms we need supplies during the week and the staff brought them very quickly. The studio kitchen is small. There was no dishwasher or stove. And there was only table service for 4 in each room, so we did a lot of dishwashing. Overall, not a big deal and we survived. We loved St Thomas and we loved LimeTree. We visited the other 2 Wyndham properties on the island and LimeTree is by far the best. The other 2 are very large and not good beach access. We had a great vacation and cannot wait to return! Everyone was attentive and helpful. This is a smaller resort which is what we prefer. I always felt safe and never crowded.

Very Nice The staff here is amazing! They are to be commended!! The resort is beautiful! We loved it because it was small and less crowded than most places. The pool is beautiful with a swim-up bar, the little beach is gorgeous, and the grounds are well-kept. There is a market and a dive shop, as well as a restaurant called the Lanai. All are pretty expensive. I would not recommend this place to anyone handicapped, and that is my only qualm about it. Of course it is St. Thomas, the land of many hills and steps! My husband uses a cane because of a torn tendon, and he had trouble getting around. The resort does have handicap accessible rooms and an elevator in the middle, but we didn’t reserve it because the injury happened right before the trip. It was only a minor inconvenience, and the staff worked with us to get a better room for his injury. All in all, it was great! Bring earphones; there is a resident rooster who loves to crow at 5:00 am! We love the roosters, chickens, cats, and iguanas at the resort. They are used to people, and we loved watching them.

I really like it here The Limetree continues to be a good property and a solid value. I really like it here. It’s not perfect mind you, but it’s a solid value for a time-share. One of the few negatives at the resort continues to be the third-party ownership of the Lanai restaurant — sometimes the service and food are outstanding. But too often the food is just good or ok and the service lacking or stressed out. When we first started coming here many years ago, the Lanai was an outstanding restaurant on the Island — locals would flock here. They’ve had more than a year since the new ownership has taken over and you'd think they would be able to solve their problems by now. Reminders: The resort is always the last taxi/van stop from the airport; prepare thyself. Check-in can be seamless or you can end up with the hard sell. Just say no until you experience the resort. There are nightly fees, happily pay them. No housekeeping. The resort has zero beach staff, no cabana folks to fetch you extra towels or bring you a drink. Be self-sufficient and you’ll be very happy. The pool bar is operated by the good folks at the third-party on-site store — they work hard and usually succeed. The beach can be rocky, wear water shoes. Lizards fall from trees - be prepared.

Beautiful resort, clean, and friendly Had a wonderful five days at the Limetree Beach Resort by Wyndham. The resort is located right on the water and the resort looks just like the photos you find in a brochure or on the internet. The grounds are very well maintained, our room was impeccable and the views were gorgeous. There are plenty of chairs by the pool and on the beach. There is a little market that has drinks and sundries plus they serve a breakfast menu and lunch, either take away or eat by the pool. The pool bar is nice. The Lanai restaurant is co-located with the resort and is excellent. Pamela the concierge is a wealth of knowledge. If you are looking for a low-key, relaxing vacation right on the water, this is the spot.

Clean and nice but have to take expensive taxi everywhere Beautiful small resort. Not much to do there but sit around. To get off the grounds you have to take a taxi and that is a huge scam on the island. Nothing is walking distance. For a family of 4 to go 5 miles into town it’s $48 each way. Next time I’ll stay where things are easier to access. It would be great if the resort offered free taxi service into town. They also strongly encourage you to go to a timeshare presentation. Another scam, tell you one thing and get another. One concierge(Pam) knew her stuff, but the others were clueless. Research on google rather than asking lol.
