Very nice, clean space! Amazing deal compared to other hotels near the strip, but be warned, the location of the Luxor will cause you to uber almost everywhere but the Ubers themselves are affordable. Would come again if I was on a budget but wanted a nice Vegas experience!

Clean, Affordable Rooms… but No Bargain for Food Luxor has a bit of a bad reputation, with its loss of theming and location near the end of the strip. But the tower rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable. Food is expensive here, but the cafe and Mexican restaurant both have good food at prices more reasonable than in the Food Court. You also have access to a number of restaurants in the walkway from Luxor to Mandalay Bay. (We recommend Wahlburger’s, which offers good food at a decent price.) The casino has a nice variety of slots, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Smoking is allowed in most areas, but we found it easy to find quiet spots without smokers nearby. The workout room has a fair number of machines, but it can be busy. On the plus side, it’s open 24 hours with your room key. We didn’t use the spa or pool area on this trip. Overall, we found Luxor a good value in terms of the room. It’s not a bargain for food, though, and the shops’ prices are insane. Eating and shopping off the strip is a must.

Clean hotel but they owe me money 3rd stay here, this time we bought 20 family and friends from the UK with us as we were getting married. We booked a 1 Bedroom Tower Suite which we could not fault, our friends and family were happy with their rooms also. On the second day, I found that I had been charged twice on my card, after queuing for nearly a hour at the front desk they told me that there was an error on the system and my card had been duplicated resulting in a double charge. They told me “its fine, you will be refunded when you checkout in a weeks time”. I explained that isn’t fine and I needed that money back immediately, after half an hour of going backwards and forwards with the manager, they agreed to release the funds but would take a few days to process. Not to the best start. When checking out of the hotel, I was waiting for the security deposit to be released back to my card, but then only have was refunded back to me. My family and friends received their full amount but I didn’t. After emailing, submitting automated call back forms on the website, social media messaging, I have had no communication. It is disappointing because for one, this was our wedding and we encouraged all our guests to stay in this hotel because we had never had any issues in the past. To be charged twice and then not receive money that is owed with no response from them has made us not want to stay here a 4th time.

Spacious First time staying here at the Luxor. On arrival we were disappointed by the self service check in, not our thing and doesn't make you feel welcome. The room was very spacious as we had a corner suite, maybe needs a bit of TLC as its a bit aged - but we only slept in there. Plenty of things to do, eat and see in the hotel. Staff that you do see are very friendly :)
