Very nice, clean space! Amazing deal compared to other hotels near the strip, but be warned, the location of the Luxor will cause you to uber almost everywhere but the Ubers themselves are affordable. Would come again if I was on a budget but wanted a nice Vegas experience!

Interesting hotel It was an odd experience...from the smell of weed throughout the hotel and Casino and the weird dreams and experiences. My partner saw a dark shadow move across our bedroom floor and in one of the main corridors. The dreams we had were so weird and we woke up every few hours because we felt something in the room or thought someone had opened the door to our room. But the staff were lovely throughout and the food was great. Would definitely stay there again, even with the ghosties _

You want to stay in a tower room...... I know that the idea of a Pyramid room can create excitement but as someone who has stayed in the Pyramid and the towers, if you want a more updated room that has a much better use of the space, book the tower rooms. Our room was clean, and not that much farther way from the activities in the resort. While the Luxor may not be the high end of the MGM properties it does provide a very reasonable nights stay ($59.00 total including the resort fee). One couldn't stay in a Holiday Inn for that price and be just steps from the action of the Las Vega strip. If value is high on your list, the Luxor is a solid option.

Fun vibes, great in-room tub, super value, no ghosts experienced Getting to the point: I had no paranormal experiences. What I had was a mixed bag of a room that was GREAT for the low low price. Cons: -My mattress was concave. I don't want to know how heavy the people who slept on it before me were, but they must have been nose tackles. They certainly left an impression on the mattress. -My toilet seat cover wasn't screwed on and kept sliding all over the place. You think they could have fixed this detail. -The air conditioning unit didn't work. The heat worked OK but the unit failed when I switched it to A/C. -the "inclinator" elevators were hilariously dilapidated. You could literally see the wires sticking out of them, and those wires were covered in dust. It had clearly been years since someone attempted to remedy this worrying wire situation. Pros: -Staying here was a lot of fun! What other building on Earth can you pay to sleep in that houses both relics from Egyptian pharoah tombs and artifacts from the Titanic disaster? If you step back and think about it, that's nuts. -The value for the rooms was super. I stayed in a corner room with a giant tub and it was cheaper than staying in a Hampton Inn in most cities. -My tub was awesome. I felt like a pharaoh. It had no problem filling right up with hot water. I soaked perfectly. Truly awesome. -The location within the MGM complex is so convenient. -The weirdo charm of this theme hotel is off the charts. I mean that atrium really is jaw-dropping. For the record, I saw zero ghosts. I don't want to say I wish I did, but sadly or ot sadly I had no paranormal experiences at the Luxor. I'd totally come back and stay here again. I can't wait to take another long soak in a corner suite tub.
