The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Good hotel on the strip for the price Good hotel close to airport. Easy access to the Deuce for ease of getting g around. Plenty of food options. Would prefer a coffee pot and fridge in the room. The absence was noticable.

Fun and Excitement at the LUXOR! Everything was excellent! The only downside was the one-mile walk, from and to the parking lot with a $25.00 a night fee was not very friendly with seniors. My bad anyway, because I did not use the Vallet Parking.

A good value if you could stay for free This hotel is very run down and overall it was a poor experience. The price was somewhat reasonable given how run down the hotel is which is the only saving grace. It needs a serious update. Our bathroom light wouldn't stay on because of a wiring issue in the switch. We had to turn it off and on several times to get it to stay on (contacts seem to be worn down). They also had gaffers tape (like duct tape) holding down torn carpet in many of the hallways. The wifi was slow (I just ended up using my cells hot-spot the entire time) and the worst part was the check-in experience. Their MGM app didn't work the entire time we were there and the last time I stayed there a couple of years ago it didn't work then either. They have check-in kiosks which nobody was able to use since the digital check-in was broken. So, you had to wait over an hour to check-in after a long day of flights and travel.
