Hotel at a Glance: Margaritaville Resort Times Square

Nestled at the vibrant crossroads of 40th Street and Seventh Avenue, Margaritaville Resort Times Square stands as a bold testament to island pride within the relentless rhythm of Manhattan. From the moment you step into its tropical sanctuary—where breezy island charm meets polished city sensibility—you are transported to a realm of relaxed elegance. The resort exudes historical pride as much as it does urban luxury, paying homage to the carefree Jimmy Buffett legacy amid Times Square’s storied theatrical energy.

Perched above the electric streets, the resort’s rooftop pool offers a rare respite—the only outdoor heated pool amid Times Square’s towering facades. Whether you’re reclining on its deck with a frozen concoction or luxuriating in well-appointed rooms equipped with high-tech comforts—a 55-inch smart TV, plush robes, mini-fridge, and Keurig coffee maker—the entire experience whispers of legacy, leisure, and island escapism in the city that never sleeps.

New York City, NY: The Ever-Beating Heart of American Ambition

Few cities command the world’s imagination quite like New York City—a metropolis that rises from the edge of the Atlantic as a towering emblem of resilience, reinvention, and raw energy. Home to over eight million people and the birthplace of countless cultural revolutions, NYC is a patchwork of distinct boroughs unified by an unyielding spirit. From the granite canyons of Manhattan to the creative pulse of Brooklyn and the storied enclaves of the Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island, the city remains an unrivaled theater of dreams where every street corner hums with history, and every skyline silhouette evokes global admiration.

At once a financial powerhouse, artistic crucible, and political epicenter, New York City’s influence spans continents. It is where Broadway sets the stage for world-class theater, Wall Street dictates the tempo of markets, and the Statue of Liberty greets seekers of a better life with timeless grace. Its past is etched into landmarks like Ellis Island and the Empire State Building, while its future is written daily in the innovation hubs of Silicon Alley and the academic halls of Columbia and NYU. In New York, every block tells a story—and every story, no matter how improbable, finds a place to unfold.

A definite must do hotel Just returned to UK after a 4 night break with daughters for my wife’s 60 th birthday Had two adjoining rooms on 22nd floor Chocolates and Prosecco waiting with a lovely card Check in was easy and very friendly although surprised we had daily resort fees on top of price we paid via Expedia Location is fantastic alongside number of bars and eating options on site 32 Floor rooftop bar is a must at night Price for food and drink was surprisingly reasonable with high quality, good portion sizes and very quick service Rooms are a good size and great walk in showers All in all a really good Times Square hotel And a great stay

Horrible from top to bottom! This place is an absolute DISASTER. First night, great check in. Second day added a room for my son and was met with the most rude and disrespectful woman I have ever seen. Completely awful. They screwed up my additional rooms and then she was giving me attitude about it. Then we decided to order room service! It was to be delivered to our room but instead we had to go down to the restaurant to pick it up. Waited and hour and a half at the restaurant. Never got the order. Then we were informed that the bell Man had delivered the orders. Then they sent up half the order and everything else was missing. My son received nothing. The place is a mess. It takes sometimes up to 15 minutes to get an elevator. There is a line down the hall with people waiting for an elevator. Whoever is is charge of running this place is completely missing the mark. From the terrible service to the lack of quality food and the attitude problems, this place is a NO! I’ve stayed at the Hollywood Fl location and actually had a great experience. I’ve been there several times. This place should be sold to an owner that knows what they are doing. Complete and utter waste of time and money. If I could Give it one starch I absolutely would.

Stay Away There was a €506 unauthorised payment made against my credit card by Margaritaville Resort, Times Square, NewYork. I contacted the hotel & they informed me it was a ‘smoking charge’. We are not smokers. The hotel sent me a reading from the sensors. The hotel states the sensor detected smoke activity that is consistent with the smoke of tabacco, marijuana or vaporised products. We do NOT smoke, take drugs or vape. The only conclusion I can arrive at is there is a CBD boutique beside the hotel. On arrival & departure from the hotel there were several men, at all times, standing & sitting on stools smoking. The odour was extremely strong & unpleasant. There is also a smokers world shop nearby. No fire/smoke alarm was triggered in our room during our stay. My research has indicated this as being a scam. I queried cleaners coming into the room. The hotel did not respond to my questions. This alleged incident according to the hotel took place on Wednesday 17th September, yet they did not inform us on the 17th or the 18th of September on check out. The hotel informed me the ‘hotel considers this matter to be fully resolved’ & have ceased all communications with me. I would NOT recommend booking this hotel under any circumstances. We stayed in a hotel prior to this, on Times Square & had a very pleasant positive experience.
