Four-Star Resort with Championship Golf Course

Situated along the Intracoastal Waterway, the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes presents a fountain-and-palm-tree façade typical of Myrtle Beach's many resorts. But beyond the exterior, you’ll find a homey experience, beginning in the lobby, where you’ll check in at one of two old-fashioned wooden desks. A concierge is on hand to book tee times at the onsite championship golf courses or give tips on the family-friendly activities close to the inn, from shopping along the boardwalk to attending a live music show.

Spacious guest rooms feature private balconies, large bathrooms, and free WiFi access. Take advantage of year-round golfing by hitting the links at the resort's onsite course. The Grande Dunes Resort Club was named National Course of the Year in 2009 by the National Golf Course Owners Association.

At WaterScapes restaurant, Chef Corbett Rourk selects fresh-caught seafood for entrees ranging from Maryland-style crab cakes to shrimp and grits. The upscale eatery offers a wine list with dozens of options to choose from, so diners can find the perfect pairing for their meal.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: Sandy Beaches, Golf Courses, and Classic Amusement-Park Rides

Myrtle Beach is the crown jewel of South Carolina's Grand Strand, a 60-mile stretch of white-sand beaches along the Atlantic seaboard that draws surfers, fishers, and kayakers. The city was named one of the best vacation spots in the United States for a family by USA Today, in part because of its wooden boardwalk, which stretches for more than a mile and buzzes with carnival games and amusement-park rides. Hop into the SkyWheel Ferris wheel’s gondolas, surrounded by more than a million LED lights, for a panoramic view of the city below.

Less than 20 miles south of Myrtle Beach, the tiny fishing village of Murrells Inlet provides a tranquil contrast to the boardwalk's hustle and bustle. At Brookgreen Gardens, more than 2,000 sculptures stand amid sprawling floral gardens and massive, moss-covered oak trees that have been around for centuries. Murrells Inlet is also home to the Tom Fazio–designed TPC Myrtle Beach golf course, 1 of nearly 100 courses in the area that helped Myrtle Beach earn its title as the seaside golf capital of the world.

Perfect location/destination. It felt like we were on a vacation inside of another vacation. I look the marina area and it is close to everything we enjoy in Myrtle Beach, so we will be staying here again.

Still Great The Marina Inn is still our go to location when going to the beach. The hotel is fabulous and the people are great. The shuttle to the beach is always available and the beach location is superb. The pool gets crowded in the summer, especially if there is a convention at the hotel but that is totally to be expected. Highly recommend the Marina Inn.

Horrible customer service My wife and I travel frequently and 99% of the time enjoy where we stay. We take into consideration accommodations, location and service. We recently stayed at Marina inn @ Grande Dunes Myrtle beach while RV shopping in the area.. Accommodations here were good by resort standards in a touristy town. Location was perfect. Service was fantastic in the downstairs dining area and the food was delicious. This being said, service was absolutely horrible dealing with the poolside bar and the main bar while getting coffee in the morning. Both the main bar bartender working the morning shift and the poolside bartenders attitude were appalling. Poolside bartender was absolutely rude when one of our guest requested a Virgin cocktail from the bar because she doesn't drink alcohol. She became rude telling the "customer" cocktails contain alcohol. The bartender was not accommodating and her attitude was horrible. Customer service was severely lacking. We blew it off, no big deal. The next morning I walked down to the lobby bar where they have a coffee station set up to get coffee and was confronted by one of the rudest people I have EVER met in the "customer service" industry. The employee got extremely irate with me when I walked in asking about coffee because I didn't tell him good morning when I walked in.He was extremely rude, asked where I was from, and when I asked why, he stated "because you have that new York attitude and vibe " I'm not from new york nor do I have a attitude. When I asked him what he ment, he stated" around here people say good morning " he was extremely rude, unprofessional and definitely in the wrong line of work being in the Customer Service industry. I understand people have a bad day or wake up not feeling 100% but this employee was absolutely rude, confrontational and I was absolutely shocked at his behavior. I have never been talked to and confronted by such rude behavior in all my travels. I fully understand these employees don't reflect the ownerships goal for customer service but they should definitely be aware that their employees should do better. I will never stay at this place again

Fantastic Scott was fantastic in setting me up with a room at the last minute. He has exceptional customer service, and personality. Could not recommend this facility and the staff anymore.
