Good views, convenient to West Virginia University games This is a relatively new hotel and just off the Highway in Morgantown. I stayed here overnight to attend a football game at West Virginia University. The hotel does not provide shuttle service. You can get a taxi or Uber. The reception was friendly and prompt. Packets of popcorn, flavored water, and cookies were offered at a table in the lobby. They were complimentary. My room had great views of Morgantown, the mountains and the river. The bed was firm for a good night's sleep. Bathroom was large enough. The sheets and linens were fresh and plenty of towels. There is a small indoor pool, an exercise room and weights room. The patio has many outdoor sofas to enjoy the views and perhaps BBQ in the summer. Many of the guests seemed like they came for the game. Breakfast is standard courtyard with the crispy roasted potatoes that I like. All in all a good stay at this hotel. There are lots of malls around the hotel and you could perhaps walk out for dinner.

Quiet, clean Stayed here for a second time while attending a WVU basketball game in Morgantown. Place is conveniently located near Buffalo Wild Wings and a couple miles from the coliseum. Place is clean and quiet, no complaints other than no breakfast. Probably stay again if the price is right.

Modern, comfortable property with great view My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our way home from our vacation in N. Carolina. It was so refreshing to stay in such a modern property and we both agreed that it is someplace we would stay again. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The view from the back patio is beautiful overlooking the city and river. Best of all - the price was $100 less than the Courtyard in Beckley, WV and the hotel was much nicer! I checked in using the app and when we arrived we were told that our reservation couldn't be found, so just an observation for the front desk clerks to check both places on their computer for reservations.

Fireworks As much as it pains me to give this hotel an average rating. I must do so. The lobby is nice. The views spectacular we really enjoyed that, We were across the street and there was a baseball game. It was a friday night and the fireworks were phenomenal. The only reason I am giving this an average rating, I had to take the stairs to the third floor all weekend. Because the elevator is terrifying. As it arrived to the third floor it would stop and shake for a good Thirty seconds. The sink at our room drains so slowly you couldn't hardly brush your teeth. And there were dried blood stains on my comforter. We had to Chase housekeeping down the hallway,To try to get clean towels. Overall was a good stay I was fairly disappointed in the cleanliness of the room.

Great Experience My family and I (a group of 6 adults) had a wonderful experience at Courtyard by Marriot, Morgantown. The hotel staff deserves a special praise. They were extremely professional and efficient. Their kindness is above expectation. They know how to make their guests comfortable and welcome. Special thanks to Hillary and Cameron who didn’t measure efforts to make our stay one of the best in years traveling around the USA and overseas! Kudos to you all. Sandra - Miami, FL
