Terrible management and untrustworthy I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. Our experience was absolutely unacceptable from start to finish. We stayed here for a full week in room 834, and not once was our room cleaned or fresh towels provided. We had to make do with the same towels and unclean room for the entire stay, which is completely inexcusable for any hotel. The real nightmare began on the day we checked out. I accidentally left my phone in the drawer beside the bed and realized it only one hour after leaving. I immediately called the hotel, clearly explaining exactly where the phone was left. The staff were completely unhelpful, claiming nothing was found. I rang again a few hours later and was told the same thing. What's worse, every time I tried to follow up, I was passed around between reception and housekeeping, and on several occasions, housekeeping hung up on me. We also sent multiple emails, none of which were ever answered. The complete lack of professionalism and accountability was shocking. Given how quickly I contacted the hotel and how specific I was about where the phone was left, there is no reasonable explanation other than that it was taken by a staff member, most likely housekeeping. The management has made no effort to resolve the issue or even properly communicate with us. I have stayed in many hotels, but I have never experienced such poor service, dishonesty, and disregard for guests. I strongly warn others to avoid this hotel at all costs -- it's not just badly managed, but also completely untrustworthy.

Don't stay here The hotel is very dated, badly in need of an overhaul. The room was clean on arrival, and despite putting our sign out for cleaning befor 11am, as requested, it was never cleaned while we were there for four days. We got fresh towels from reception and had to just leave the dirty ones on the bathroom floor. The hotel is quite far out so if the shuttle bus (which was great ) wasn't running then you were between 40 to 50 dollars for a taxi to broadway. The staff on the whole were pleasant and courteous with the exception of a particularly rude barman. He really needs a lesson in customer service. The reason for my comment is we came back one night from a showboat tour at 10pm and thought we would have a nightcap. Anyway he said ok I'll serve you but there's a notice there saying the bar closes at 10. I politely stated that this seemed a bit early and why was this? He stated that they don't want drunks coming back from town "messing up the place and generally causing a disturbance ". I said I still thought this was a bit early and was told "Ma'am, I didn't need to serve you, and if you're not happy you could go downtown." Then he proceeded with, "I'll be serving here the next couple of days and I don't need to serve you" I was so disgusted by his attitude and what amounted to a passive aggressive threat. Now, I appreciate that the bar was closing, but I was never impolite and only asking questions so I felt his response was not in proportion to this. Incidentally, I had only had a glass of wine so wasn't inebriated when this took place Otherwise, as I said, the rest of the staff were great and we just avoided the bar after this experience
