I’ve been waiting to share our terrific experience with the Park MGM, Groupon truly hit a home run with such an amazing hotel property. I think absolutely everyone from the: check in staff, housekeeping, security and finally Primrose restaurant deserves five stars. My only issue was the second hand smoke that is prevalent, unfortunately inside all the Las Vegas Hotel &Casino’s to varying degrees.

Resort at a Glance: Monte Carlo Resort and Casino

Monte Carlo Resort and Casino surrounds guests with style on the Las Vegas Strip. The sprawling resort is home to no less than nine bars and 13 restaurants catering to a host of international tastes. Their welcoming BLVD Plaza is reminiscent of italian piazzas and makes for an excellent place to shop and mingle. At the end of the day, retire to your room, which is outfitted with an italian-marble entry and bathroom plus a 40-inch LCD TV.

  • Optional perk: select option includes one breakfast, lunch, or dinner buffet for two (one per stay)
  • Try your luck at the casino’s table games, or opt for one of the funky slot machines themed around The Walking Dead or Michael Jackson.
  • Dining options include BRAND Steakhouse and Lounge – a refined steakhouse located right on the casino floor – and Double Barrel Roadhouse – a Southern-inspired restaurant that features live country and rock n’ roll performances.
  • Coolest bar: Grab a drink at Minus5—it’s completely built from Canadian ice (bring your jacket).
  • Pamper yourself with a massage or a new do at the full-service spa and salon.
  • Nearby attractions: The Park, located by the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, is an outdoor destination featuring art and horticulture inspired by the surrounding desert landscape. The Park boasts over a dozen restaurants and bars, as well as a new world-class arena, the 20,000-seat T-Mobile Arena.

The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of shows in Las Vegas for kids hidden among the raucous nightlife.

Our room was nice, bed was very comfortable. The pool hours are too short. Check in/out was easy and quick. The Penrose restaurant was great.
