The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

I truly enjoyed my stay. The booking on Groupon was easy, the contactless check in was simple & Check out was a breeze. It was a distance to walk to our room, but it was worth it. I'd highly recommend this location.

A disappointment... Our experience started our rough which lead to a series of discovering various disappointments. Not being a high enough elite meant there was little we could do. We arrived around 230 and figured a room might not be ready given official checkin was 3. We did all the checkin stuff, less getting a room, and were told we'd get a text once a room was ready. Fast forward to after 4-430, and no text. Others in our group who arrived and checked in later had rooms. We had to wait in line only to be told to wait a bit longer. Finally spoke to someone who managed to get us a room. The elevators are slow and quite a mess. You need to scan you key to go up, which makes sense, but the reader in at least one of the elevators doesn't read fast and it could cause you to take a bit of a trip (going up or going down). The rooms are a decent size. That rollercoaster is loud. The toilet paper might be the cheaper, roughest I've ever experienced. At least check-out was somewhat seamless...

TERRIBLE CHECK-IN PROCESS First time staying at NYNY. Chose to do bookends in Vegas on the front and back of a trip to Hawaii. On both ends we had to wait for our room when arriving around 10:00 pm. This was with already having reservations. We were told our room wasn’t ready. On the front end, they gave us a different room, 2 queens instead of the king we booked. On the back end, we waited an hour with our luggage in the lobby. Finally my husband went and asked the girl just standing there to give room keys to people, what does it take to get a room here and she told him just waiting. Never have we stayed anywhere that you have a reservation for a room and at 11:00 pm, your room is not ready. Crazy, but we will never come back to NYNY.

Very Good Value on the Strpe Older Hotel. However the staff is good. Rooms are clean. Assorted places to eat, with out leaving the hotel. Easy to get to other areas on the stripe.
