The best; as always. Always love our room ❤️ Lobby is beautiful; still decorated in Christmas decor. Tayler and Richard are worth bragging over. Such a soothing aura staff. The best.

Great location, but NOT a 4 star hotel Excellent location, nesteld on a quiet street between the Warehouse District and the French Quartet. Elegant lobby and nice rooftop. We stayed in a deluxe queen room which was spacious but quite disappointing in terms of furniture (barely any, including no desk chair), decor, and view. The bathroom was huge but the shower drainage did not work well, and water could easily overflow. The task lamps by the bed were broken. No coffee/ tea makers in the room, which it's usually a given in a 4 star hotel. Carpet was worn out and dirty. The fitness room was nice but both pelaton bikes had broken seats that could not be adjusted. But the real problem I had was with lack of transparency on the final cost of our stay. I had booked 6 nights (2 adults, 1 kid) with added breakfast (for an additional $30 per day) directly from the hotel website. On the first day of breakfast I asked if there were restrictions on what we could order, since prices ranged from $18 for the Barone breakfast to $24 for the crabcake. Both the waiter and receptionist told us that we could order anything, but at the end they still charged us for each breakfast, adding also a 20% service automatic charge on each bill. Breakfast came to more than $100 each day for simple things like waffles, pankakes, and eggs, which I would have not done if had known it was at additional cost. Long story short, my final bill was almost $500 more than the package I had booked. When I asked for the itemized invoice at check out I was given a 4-page bill which was really hard to understand. Even though the staff was nice and tried to help, it seemed no one could clearly answer my questions. The hotel has great potentials, but seems poorly managed.
