  • Parking policy: Parking is included in the resort fee; limit to (1) vehicle per bedroom for oceanfront towers. House rentals must park within the assigned driveway. Boats, trailers and other recreational vehicles are not permitted on the property or in parking areas. Over-sized vehicles and trailers may not be accommodated. For multiple or oversized vehicles, please contact the resort before arrival. Assigned parking passes must be present in all vehicles either in front window dash or hanging from the rearview mirror.
  • Smoking policy: Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms. A $250 cleaning fee will apply if there is any evidence of smoking in the unite or on the premises which includes the balcony. Please inquire with guest services for designated smoking areas.

Dissapointed Unfortunately, our second stay at North Beach Resort was a major disappointment and far from the relaxing vacation we had planned. We booked a villa expecting comfort and quality, but what we got was a run-down and dirty unit. The carpets and furniture were stained and worn, and the overall condition of the space felt neglected. When we raised the issue, we were told there were no alternative rooms available for our 4-night stay—leaving us stuck. We were upgraded for just 2 nights, which we appreciated, but then forced to either return to the subpar villa or find a new hotel altogether. Not exactly the stress-free getaway we had hoped for. To make matters worse, there was an issue with lounge chair availability. Guests wake up early just to reserve chairs with towels and personal items, then leave them unattended for hours. This made it nearly impossible to find a spot by the pool. Adding to the frustration, one of the pool areas was closed during our stay, making the overcrowding problem even worse. The final straw? The swim-up bar—the main reason we chose this resort—was closed. No notice, no explanation, and no compensation. North Beach Resort markets itself as a premium, relaxing destination, but our experience was anything but. We will not be returning, and I can’t recommend it to others unless major improvements are made. They should not be renting out villas they know to be in disrepair.

Anniversary North Beach Resorts & Villas was by the best hotel experience I’ve had in Myrtle Beach!! The staff were welcoming and the customer service was amazing. The hotel was extremely clean and presentable from our room to the hallway to the amenities area. Thank you North Beach Resort & Villas for such great hospitality! We’re looking forward to our next visit.

North Beach Resort poor visit So many negatives during our stay, I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here for the money they charge. This is by no means a resort. Condo- -Hot in bedroom while the sitting room was frigid -the window in the bedroom was to the outside hallway and was noisy when people walked by -mattress was horrible and the pillowcases didn’t fully cover the pillow (gross) -terrible lighting in the bathrooms, cheap towels, no body wash, no make up mirror -furniture is outdated throughout -dust bunnies in several rooms Pool area- -music was a loop of the same songs and would shut off after so much time until I’m guessing someone started it again? -loungers don’t recline enough and in general are uncomfortable -1 staff member at pool bar area for only a short time, we stopped by at 3:30 and they were gone, bar closed up and no self service water to be had anywhere Front desk- I called before arrival to verify shuttle service to Barefoot Landing and was told it ran daily starting at 9. We also received a text during our visit and we asked about the shuttle to there again and were told the same hours. When we called to ask where to get the shuttle they said it wasn’t going to Barefoot Landings that day. I called back and they said that it arbitrarily is decided when to go there. I explained it was the main reason we booked here and they talked to the driver and got him to take us that night. Not a professional process in my opinion. Our only positive experience here was checkin. The girl was warm and welcoming. Too bad that’s where it ended.

DO NOT STAY HERE This was the first and last time I will ever stay here. Be very aware the room you book on line IS NOT the room you will get upon arrival. We booked a two bedroom villa and ended up in a one bedroom condo. The room was dirty, the closet had paint cans and paint brushes in it...the furniture was outdated, the bed was "crunchy" and the bathroom was not clean. In addition the tower we were placed in (not the villa we booked) was having work done on the outside so every morning we woke up to men on scaffolding outside our balcony...watching us eat breakfast or getting dressed. There was a water main break on the property as well which took the day to repair. There was also scaffolding over the entrance to the pools that you had to walk thru. The outdoor hot tubs were dirty with debris floating in them. The poolside cafe wasn't open so there was no food available unless you brought your own...but the bar was open because alcohol is more important in a family resort than food for the kids. The woman that we spoke to at check in was very rude and needs some additional customer service training... I am sorry I wish I had more positive things to say but I really don't. If you can book somewhere else this is not the spot for you or your family.

Uncleaned overlooking the parking lot! This place was filthy. No oceanview as charged. No cleaning. Just plain filthy. The villa my husband and I received seemed to have been sitting somewhere collecting dust. The bathroom was not clean and the shower had mold in it. The bed sheet was dirty. The mattress had stains. On previous trips to Myrtle Beach, I always stayed somewhere else. My husband wanted to try this place and Oh Boy! You can tell it will be closing soon. It was leaking upon checking in and they lied about the accommodations. Again don't expect Oceanview, as you will be given an unclean villa overlooking the parking lot. See the photos for yourself! Also beware they dont have google reviews because of the third party vendors used to help minimize their negative reviews.
