Could have been better Stayed here for 1 night for business. Same as 20 years ago when I first visited, the Oyster Bar is amazing and worth a visit although wait times can be long. I lined up at 2pm on a Sunday and waited for an hour. The casino itself is decent and has cheaper table games than casinos on the strip. There are a few restaurants, a gift shop, and a Starbucks on the property. The room is on the older side and could use a renovation. As someone else mentioned, the bed is super soft (in a bad way) where you sink into it. The shower took a while for hot water to come out. And the elevators are slow….seemed like only 2 out of 4 were working. I would come visit again for the Oyster Bar but for $185/night I was expecting more.

Reeked of Cigarette Smoke, but the people were nice and loved the free parking. PROS: - free parking, lots of spacious covered parking - off the main strip (can be a con) - really nice, friendly workers. - a variety of places to eat, a few are 24 hours, including Oyster Bar (best chowder ever) - close to Area 15, relatively close walking distance if you don't mind the heat in the day (wouldn't walk it in the night time unless you're with a large group) - 11 minutes from Harry Reid Airport - rates are reasonable - received a $30 hotel credit promo, which we used to get food - relatively quiet, compared to some other hotels we've stayed at CONS: - non-smoking rooms still reek strongly of cigarette smoke, probably from the central cooling system and/or furniture/curtains. Did not like this at all. - super soft beds and pillow, unless you like this sort of torture - must pay an extra $15 each if you want a fridge or microwave - no coffee maker (Starbucks downstairs, or go to the casino bar and get coffee for $3 or go to the Omelet House a few minutes drive away - best omelets!!) - communication just OK, I had to call downstairs to ask how to hook up the (slow) wi-fi and ask how to redeem the hotel credit as we weren't told on how to redeem the $30 credit Overall a good/fair value, we paid about $440 for a double Queen, city view, non-smoking room for a 3 night's stay with a $30 hotel room credit we used at the Oyster Bar for their Clam Chowder (must charge it to your room to get the credit). The biggest deal breaker was the very strong smell of smoke in the non-smoking rooms, it kept me up at night most nights.

Night one we found bed bugs and roaches. Security guards validated this experience and saw a live roach with us. We had to beg for a new room and were placed in a room with no AC. They deducted the night of bed bugs but did not address the room with no ac in the middle of JULY. As soon as I stated I was calling my wife who is an attorney the manager had us escorted out by security. Yes, we are black. Yes, the manager was micro aggressive throughout the entire process. I will be disputing the charge with my bank and will never stay here again. CHECK FOR BED BUGS YALL!
