Las Vegas, NV

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of shows in Las Vegas for kids hidden among the raucous nightlife.

Free parking Second time staying at The Palms this year. First time during MLK weekend, we got 2 queens in a corner suite. The door was massive like a private entrance. It was a corner unit with large windows over looking The Palms towers. This time, Memorial weekend, we got a king bed in the Fantasy Tower. It’s clean, modern, bright beige color palette. The digital clock has a wireless charging pad. The mini fridge is not for personal use. You must request for a fridge if you want one. Otherwise, it has a timer and will charge you if you remove items or open for too long. Although slightly off strip, the advantage is free parking, cheaper gambling, and better blackjack odds. Next time, we will need to try AYCE buffet.

Ignorant Front Desk Person On June 4 we checked in at Palms Casino Resort as part of the celebration of my girlfriend's birthday. During the checked in we requested a room facing the view of Flamingo Road so that we can take a picture of Las Vegas strip during the day and at night. The clerk that did the Check-in was a guy named KEN and attached was the view from our room. IT WAS NOT FLAMINGO ROAD AND NOT THE STRIP. When we went down to complain, the clerk named KEN response was "we should have clarified what Tower we want." This was ridiculous! As customer, we don't have any knowledge which tower of the hotel are facing a specific road or a view. Hotel personnel are the ones that has this information. The guy was very rude and ignorant. He should not be working at the FRONT DESK. He does not have a good representation of the hotel. Fron

Bita the incompetent/lying front desk manager We checked into the Palms in Vegas & they gave us the wrong room. Instead of admitting it or saying sorry and offering to switch the room for us, the manager tried to cover herself by saying that room doesn’t exist. We told her we’ve stayed in it before, she tried to convince us we hadn’t. We showed her pictures and confirmation numbers from last time, she still didn’t believe us. She kept telling us “there’s no need to switch rooms.” I said, “to which room? The room you’re saying doesn’t exist?” She said if we wanted to wait another day, maybe someone would check out and we could take their room. So I said, “the room you’re saying doesn’t exist?” I asked her to confirm the larger room exists, she said she couldn’t confirm that because she “hasn’t personally seen every room of the hotel.” I told her the room was available & showed her on my phone that it was still available online. She said the website must’ve made a mistake. She then admitted that sometimes the overbook. I asked what would happen if I bought the room right then online, and she said she would have to give me a refund because they were sold out. She tried to cover herself because she knew she was caught lying to our faces. We stayed at the Palms for about an hour and a half just to fight with Bita- the manager. She said the best she could offer was to check us out. Worst customer service ever. We checked out immediately & are never coming back to the Palms. This incompetent manager, Bita, says she’s worked there “for over a month,” as if she clearly knew what she was talking about… she couldn’t even print out our receipts, forgot to give us a pen to sign them, and had to ask the other front desk employee for help several times. These are the differences between the two rooms. one is considerably bigger, the other has a smaller couch, lower ceilings, and only one restroom. We will be suing the Palms for false advertising, specifically because of Bita- the incompetent manager who lied to our faces. She eventually admitted she found a confirmation number confirming we had stayed there before, but offered no apology, no discount, nothing. I only wish I could personally sue that lying incompetent waste of breath- Bita, for lying to our faces, gaslighting us by trying to make us believe we never stayed in the hotel before, and offering the best she could do- to check us out immediately. We’ll never stay there again specifically because of her. Do yourself a favor, take your business somewhere else where you won’t be lied to your face by Bita.
