Las Vegas, NV

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of shows in Las Vegas for kids hidden among the raucous nightlife.

Planned birthday celebration for over a year. VIP head manager was so ingenuine. Such a disappointment. **Disappointing VIP Experience at the Palms Resort** I booked the penthouse at Fantasy Tower at the Palms Resort to celebrate my birthday, expecting a luxurious VIP experience—but it turned into a frustrating ordeal. Despite paying over $1,800 in advance, I arrived to find the hotel’s systems down, which delayed check-in for hours with little communication from staff. The front desk team seemed overwhelmed, and the VIP manager’s lack of empathy and professionalism only added to the disappointment. My special occasion was overshadowed by poor service, tech issues, and unmet expectations. Even after all the trouble, the only compensation offered was a free standard room—not acceptable given the circumstances. I can’t recommend the Palms for VIP stays unless significant improvements are made in technology, staff training, communication, and customer care.

From Yaamava Casino regulars to Palms Las Vegas first timers - Great trip! This was our second trip to the Palms. My wife and I had celebrated both our birthdays in a previous stay and were delighted with the room that Albert Ayala at VIP desk requested for us! Very clean and spacious with one of the best beds I've slept in. Parking was free and the elevators from the hotel landed directly to the casino floor. There is the Serrano Vista cafe right off the elevators with Starbucks coffee... perfect for my morning wake-up. We met our host Erno Mabini that trip and told him we were coming back for our wedding anniversary. Expecting a very nice King room - we were met with a huge suite! He went above and beyond to insure our special day was special. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional and very accommodating. The food was great in the food court, and over the top at the steakhouse. Neither of us missed being off the strip. If I had to use only one word to describe the hotel and casino - Clean! We will definitely be back and already recommended it to our extended family back home.
