Las Vegas, NV

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of shows in Las Vegas for kids hidden among the raucous nightlife.

Ruthless and Discriminatory Customer Service June 17, 2025 Palms Casino Resort Guest Relations Department 4321 W Flamingo Rd Las Vegas, NV 89103 Subject: Miss Behavior Management Staff Regarding Disrespectful Customer Service and Misinformation at the Rewards Center Dear Palms Casino Resort Management, I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment and distress regarding a recent interaction with your customer service team at the Rewards Center on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. The experience was profoundly disrespectful and unacceptable, particularly given the high standards of customer service expected in the Las Vegas hospitality industry. My issue began when I approached the Rewards Center to inquire about misinformation concerning promotional points I had earned. I was not provided with clear information regarding the promotion's terms and conditions beforehand, specifically that my earned points would not qualify under your rules. As a loyal customer, I believe it is incumbent upon Palms Casino Resort to provide complete and accurate promotional details upfront. What truly escalated this negative experience was the subsequent handling of my inquiry by your staff. The supervisor, Medalyn, addressed me with a ruthless and disrespectful demeanor. When I respectfully requested to speak with a manager, Roslyn, the situation unfortunately deteriorated further. Roslyn appeared to take my explanation of the situation as a personal attack. Instead of offering a clear resolution or engaging in a productive conversation, she threatened to call security and summarily dismissed me without providing any satisfactory answers. I was made to feel incredibly small and insignificant, as if I were a pauper begging for a trivial gift worth no more than $10. In my many years of experience within the hospitality sector, both as a customer and observing industry practices, I have never encountered such a profound lack of respect. I have always held a strong belief in treating all individuals with respect, which I consider a fundamental aspect of customer service. Roslyn's behavior made me feel akin to someone homeless, undeserving of basic courtesy despite being a patron of your establishment for several years. While I may not consistently spend millions on gaming, I frequently visit your property with family and friends to dine or watch movies. The way Roslyn held a grudge against me while I attempted to explain the situation was appalling. Her comment, implying that this was the "first time Medalyn did that," suggested that she believed I was fabricating the incident and merely seeking a "cheap gimmick." As a manager, her conduct and communication skills fell far short of the professional standards one would expect from a leading hospitality establishment. I have never felt compelled to file a complaint of this nature before. While I believe this specific incident may not be representative of the entire company, a repeated pattern of such dismissive and disrespectful behavior from both a supervisor and a manager is deeply concerning. If this is the prevailing work ethic and customer service standard at Palms Casino Resort, it severely undermines your standing in a city where exceptional customer service is a cornerstone of our economy. I am extremely upset and feel profoundly disrespected by the behavior of your employees. Their conduct is unacceptable at any level. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to address these serious deficiencies in customer service.

Rude woman ROSA at Serrano Vista Cafe The Palms has been my go to casino and enjoyed the staffs services. I normally give good tip. However, one time having ran out of cash due to playing, got some coffee and ROSA RUDELY and loudly said, "Today we received nothing but Thank you!!!."
