Palms Place Hotel at the Palms - Paradise

Stay at Palms Place Hotel in Las Vegas, with Dates into March

Modern Suites in High-Rise Above the Las Vegas Strip

Waterfalls, stone gardens, and a fire pit surround Palms Place Hotel's 50,000-square-foot pool. This area occupies its own little remote slice of paradise on the 6th story of the building. After grabbing a drink poolside, you can duck into a private cabana or look out to a panoramic view of the incandescent Las Vegas Strip below.

Palms Place as a whole takes every opportunity to showcase its views of Vegas. In the resort's sister property Palms Casino Resort you'll find the Ivory Tower and the recently-renovated Ghostbar nightclub, where you can step onto the outdoor sky deck to take in a bird’s-eye view of the Strip and sip cocktails on white wraparound sofas that glow under violet lights. Glass insets cover the deck’s floor, allowing you to get a dramatic view of Sin City’s receding hairline.

Celebrated chef Kerry Simon helms the kitchen at Simon Restaurant & Lounge, 1 of the 11 onsite eateries that’s been known to draw celebrities. It has elegant dishes prepared by Simon and the team with seasonal and organic ingredients. You can peer through floor-to-ceiling windows to get an eyeful of the Strip and the Spring Mountains, too. Natural elements play a big role at Drift Spa and Hammam, where you can lounge in a steam bath or indulge in an aromatherapy massage.

Each studio suite spans 600 square feet, with twin 42-inch plasma TVs, a king-size bed fitted with Italian bedding by Matteo, wall-to-wall windows, and a contemporary kitchen. One-bedroom suites include the same amenities, in addition to living rooms with fireplaces; also, they're double the size.

Las Vegas: The Strip Past and Present

Mentioning Las Vegas usually conjures up images of spinning roulette wheels and stone-faced poker players. If that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll want to make a beeline for the casinos lining the neon-lit Strip. But for lower-stakes gambling in a throwback Vegas atmosphere, head downtown to Fremont Street. Vintage signs and showgirls crowned with headdresses recall the days of Sinatra and Martin, but this Glitter Gulch burns much brighter today than it did in the Rat Pack era: beginning at dusk, a canopy of more than 12 million LED lights erupts in a psychedelic light and music show every hour.

Educational attractions have never been Sin City's strong suit, but the Mob Museum boasts a winning formula: bank robberies, prostitution, and money laundering. Exhibits profile legendary Mafiosos from Capone to Gotti, and within the former federal courthouse, you can participate in a police lineup, or enter witness protection for the rest of your life.
