Hotel at a Glance: Paradise Stream
Paradise Stream is nestled amid the forests, lakes, and peaks of northeastern Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. The 1960s brought a flood of publicity for the area that resulted in the Poconos being named the “Honeymoon Capital of the World.” Paradise Stream still maintains that romantic feel; it’s an adults-only property, and many guest rooms still have the heart-shaped tubs that made the resort famous.
Get physical with numerous activities including hiking, basketball, and tennis.
Indoor activities: duckpin bowling, swimming and hot tub, ping pong, air hockey, video arcade games, billiards,, and fitness equipment.
Couples massage: unwind in the spa with relaxing body and facial treatments (extra fees apply).
Step onto the dance floor at Paradise Stream’s nightclub.
Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains: Hiking, Trout Fishing, and Historical Towns
The Poconos region of northeastern Pennsylvania accounts for some 2,400 square miles of mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and forests. The area has been a popular vacation destination ever since Pennsylvania Quakers opened a hotel here on the Delaware River in 1829. Today, the Poconos draw more than 25 million annual visitors, thanks to year-round recreational opportunities and stunning natural scenery.
The warmer months are a great time to explore the region’s lakes and wooded hills. For spectacular hikes, check out Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, where you can trek to dramatic waterfalls or follow a 27-mile section of the historic Appalachian Trail. A handful of little towns full of antique shops and galleries nestle in the mountains, too. You'll find boutique wine galleries and historical mansions tucked away on country roads, including the late 19th-century Asa Packer Mansion, which is open for tours, in the borough of Jim Thorpe.

I really enjoyed myself. Need more of the dj nights. It was nice. The bathroom could have been a little fresher and I did find little black crumbs in my dresser drawer. The room was really nice having my own pool and jacuzzi was amazing. I am going to try the champagne glass room next time.
