Outdated and dirty Room was outdated, worn down and dirty. Black hair in bathtub, black hair on toilet, smudges on closer mirror, floor sticky, smudges on wall. Furniture outdated and ,poor condition (drawers don't operate properly), outdoor table had black hair all over it. Bathroom very outdated. Only positive is the location of the hotel. 3rd time staying here in the last 25 years and it's sad to see it hasn't been updated or cared for in that amount of time. Too many other options in the area to deal with theae.thoe of issues

Mother's Day Weekend at Pelican Inn and Suites The hotel is darling! Beautiful rooms, comfy beds and easy to use services. The wifi was a tad spotty and the in-room coffee machine didn't work very well. I didn't ask for a new one so as not to bother, but maybe could have. :D Sam at the front desk was helpful! The views are spectacular. Pool is small and hot tub is kind of hidden, so didn't use these services. For the price the services are limited, but...the view and ease of access to the ocean and other coffee spots is wonderful.

Very nice but problem with customer service I’m here at the moment. The hotel is very nice with a beautiful view of the ocean. The room is clean and smells very good. However I’m in a bad mood because of the front desk receptionist. Whoever she is is absolutely rude with no experience in customer service. There is a balcony here and all I did was call the front desk to ask if smoking was permitted on the balcony. If it wasn’t then that’s fine. There is a bench across the street where I can go. Rather than just simply saying no it’s not permitted she gives me a lecture like I’m five years old and says “absolutely not we will fine you if you are caught”, in the rudest tone ever. I don’t know her name but she should be fired for talking to anyone like that. I was only asking a question about the policy with no intentions of violating the rules and I got lectured like a five year old and with a totally condescending and rude attitude. This was Sunday May 11 at 5 pm when I called. I hope the owner sees this and talks to and/or fires her. My evening has been ruined by this condescending person with no customer service skills.

Great view, comfortable stay for a weekend getaway! We enjoyed our stay at the inn. It was clean, easy to navigate within the grounds, and the parking was convenient. Our bed was a little uncomfortable and the water pressure in the shower was not good. All in all, we had an overall positive experience.

Great location The location is really big rest. You can just walk right out the end of the property and take a walk a long the ocean on the bird walk. We really enjoy having a nice fireplace in the room. My only complaint is the shower did not get hot enough. At best it was a bit like-warm. Really would have elevated the experience if I could have had an hot shower. Otherwise, it’s a fine place to stay in Cambria.
