Boston, MA: Cradle of American Liberty

Boston stands as a monumental symbol of the nation’s founding spirit, steeped in history that shaped the United States as we know it. From the echoes of Paul Revere’s midnight ride to the defiance of the Boston Tea Party, this city breathes the legacy of revolution, intellect, and innovation. Walking its cobblestone streets is akin to stepping into the pages of a living textbook—where iconic landmarks like the Old North Church, Faneuil Hall, and the Freedom Trail tell a story of courage and conviction that reverberates through generations. The city’s academic pedigree, anchored by nearby Harvard and MIT, further cements Boston’s status as a beacon of enlightenment and leadership.

Yet Boston is more than its storied past—it is a vibrant, modern metropolis defined by cultural richness and architectural elegance. The historic brownstones of Back Bay blend seamlessly with sleek waterfront developments along the Seaport, while Fenway Park stands proudly as one of America’s most beloved sports shrines. A hub of biotech, education, and artistic excellence, Boston marries tradition with transformation, offering visitors and residents a cityscape where heritage and progress coexist in harmonious rhythm. It is here, in this coastal capital, that the American spirit continues to thrive—resilient, proud, and forever forward-looking.

Great centrally located hotel. Small rooms but great customer service and great location. Will return but get two rooms instead of one for our family of four.

Not what we expected. Let’s start with the bathroom, inadequate lighting for makeup and shaving. The toilet tissue paper dispenser too low, you have to sit sideways since your knee is in direct contact with the dispenser. As we entered the hotel, we noticed trash accumulation by the doors. Despite my request to the front desk (three times) to collect an ironing board. I ended just placing the board and iron outside the door. The front staff will not acknowledge you as entered the lobby. They were too busy checking personal cellphones/internet!!! At least our room was not designed for long stays; only one drawer, no shelves/space for suitcases and luggage. No cash in reception. Not able to brake large bills. Outside sitting next to bar/restaurant was dirty and looks abandoned. Room was properly clean in a daily basis.

I would pass. Super small rooms, even for Boston. I asked if I can get a bigger room when I arrived that night and was told to ask the morning staff. I did but was told that I had the biggest room they had. Someone wasn’t telling me the truth. Made no sense. No desks in the rooms. Small chair and bed only. Air conditioner didn’t work so I had to switch hotels. No extra points, no refund. No offer to call another hotel. Nothing. As a diamond member I expected something but all I got is bad customer service. Won’t be back.

Broken AC The room was clean and bathroom was cute and spacious. The beds were very uncomfortable and I just sunk into them but not in a good way. The first night the room felt damp and I thought it maybe was because it was so hot outside. I had the AC run all night and it stayed around 70/71 (it was set to 65). My second night, last night, I woke up at 4:30 sweating through my pjs. I had the AC set to 60 and overnight the temp had risen to 79. It’s 58 degrees outside so that doesn’t make sense. I also can’t open the window so there is 0 air circulation. Unacceptable! The front desk gave me a fan but it doesn’t change that it’s extremely uncomfortable, when I’m paying a lot of money TO BE comfortable (that’s the whole point of a hotel right?) the front desk also said they’ve had about 6 different hvac companies come in to check the system so I believe it’s an ongoing issue.
