Excellent Treasure Island suite hotel I stayed at Provident Oceana Beachfront Suites in Treasure Island for 5 days. The accommodations were fantastic. It was extremely clean and well maintained. We didn’t have any issues at all with cleanliness or maintenance. The view of the bay was gorgeous. I could see it from the balcony, which was accessible from both the living room and bedroom. The kitchen had everything that my own kitchen has. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great. The office staff were very nice and friendly. I will definitely stay here again when I return to this area. I will also be recommending Provident Oceana Beach Suites to anyone I know that will be staying in this area.

Treasure Island, FL: Where Sun-Soaked Shores Meet Storied Legacy

A jewel on Florida’s Gulf Coast, Treasure Island is a coastal haven steeped in lore and loved for its timeless charm. Named after tales of buried pirate gold unearthed by early hotel builders in the 1900s, the island proudly wears its mythical origins while offering more than just legends. Spanning nearly four miles of pristine white sands and turquoise waters, it remains one of the Sunshine State’s most inviting beach destinations. Sunset cruises, parasailing, and dolphin sightings are everyday affairs here, making the island a living postcard of tropical allure.

Yet beyond its beach-town pleasures, Treasure Island stands as a tribute to the resilient spirit of Old Florida. Its neighborhoods reflect a rich tapestry of mid-century architecture, nostalgic motels, and long-standing seafood shacks that have weathered decades of change. The historic John’s Pass Village nearby—once a pirate haven, now a bustling boardwalk—bridges past and present, offering a vibrant mix of shops and waterfront eateries. Whether you're tracing maritime legends or basking in golden light, Treasure Island invites visitors to experience Florida through the lens of heritage, beauty, and unhurried grace.

Bring allergy meds if you have pet allergies and stay here. The view is gorgeous and the suite was spacious, which would have caused me to give a higher rating, except I'm allergic to dogs and this is a pet friendly hotel. I never have allergic reactions in clean places, however, 10 minutes in bed and I my throat and eyes swelled up. I also found a dog toy in the closet which l suspect means a dog recently stayed in the room and bed and the room was not thoroughly cleaned between guests. When I asked if there was anything that could be done, I was told hotel was fully booked and I could not be moved. Instead, I was asked if I wanted to change the sheets and maybe that would help. Benadryl worked better. Other negatives include low quality soap, shampoo and coffee and chipped dishes. That said, there were plenty of other dishes and cooking utensils to use.

Great position apartments in treasure island Just about to leave after a lovely 6 night stay, Great position apartments ~ ours had beautiful beach views, watched dolphins in the ocean from balcony. Clean and spacious although the second bedroom is smaller and not en-suite. The apartments are great to two couples sharing. Allocated parking spot. Restaurants and a publix are walkable. Ricky Ts is good for live music, food and cocktails. We liked it better than sloppy joes. Beach access, pool, hot tub we didn’t use pool & hot tub as our weather was unseasonably chilly! Reception were friendly and helpful, although they aren’t serviced daily, midway through our 6 night stay, they called us, asking did we need anything, so we had fresh towels, more coffee etc delivered to us. Good place to stay in treasure island

A treasure in Treasure Island We loved our clean room and the beautiful view of the Gulf. The staff was accommodating. We weren't found of Treasure Island it self but this place made it all better. Rooms are non smoking which made us happy and there's a hot tub. ❤️

Winter getaway We stayed for one week in the bay side building. I think the view there was far better than the ocean front building. We saw dolphins swimming everyday, beautiful birds and amazing boats sailing by, very relaxing. We arrived a little early but the front desk were able to get us into our room quickly. Room was clean, beds comfortable, kitchen fully stocked. Pool was on the small side but clean and the hot tub was great at the end of the day. We did not rent a car and found many restaurants/bars within easy walking distance, the trolley was also available on a frequent schedule. Only small criticism was noise up above from chairs scraping, an easy fix if they add some felt pads. Ocean front building had a great roof top deck for sunsets. I would love to return again this winter.
