Kissimmee, Florida: Easy Access to World-Famous Theme Parks and Major Orlando Attractions

Located on the banks of Lake Tohopekaliga, Kissimmee sits about 22 miles from downtown Orlando and just 16 miles from the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks. The world’s most-visited entertainment resort spans roughly 30,000 acres, encompassing four theme parks, two water parks, five golf courses, and the Disney Springs® Area. There’s no shortage of things to do here: begin your day at Magic Kingdom® Park by boarding a rocket-shaped three-seater that climbs to 180 feet before entering a deep black tunnel and racing past stars, satellites, and constellations. After that, ride a dune buggy through a haunted mansion. For dinner, head over to Epcot® to sample cuisine from Morocco, Mexico, France, Italy, and several other countries. As one of the most popular family destinations in the world, sunny Orlando is home to other theme parks including Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Orlando.

Those hoping to shake up the typical theme-park-dominated itinerary can head into downtown Orlando's vibrant arts district. The neighborhood boasts venues such as the CityArts Factory, a multifaceted patchwork of gallery spaces, and SAK Comedy Lab, which holds improv shows five nights a week.

The bed was the most comfortable one I ever slept in! I took a small Vacay just for rest and relaxation and that is exactly what I got. The hotel has lots of amenities, including basketball court, volleyball, mini golf and two pools. It’s a fun place to relax.

About the sensational hotel. Just an employee who embarrassed us The service was sensational, the rooms super clean, the only thing we didn't like was an Indian employee who is in front of the reception who treated us differently because we didn't speak English very well and we just wanted to buy some tickets for one of the parks, but he made a point of making it very clear that we didn't speak English well several times he repeated the same phrase and we didn't like it we think it's disrespectful because he could know how to deal with tourists after all it's a hotel that receives people from all over the world and who speak all kinds of languages and not everyone knows English perfectly.

Not so great stay The location of the hotel is amazing, there's lot of nice places around and you're less than 10 minutes away from the Magic Kingdom parking lot. You are not getting a lot of amenities - the breakfast is very basic and if you pre pay it they give you vouchers at check in. Remember to bring them with you or they won't let you in! They have a bar and another restaurant - they were both closed all the time we were staying. The rooms are another story - they look dated, our towels were stained before our arrival and the beds were one of the most uncomfortable ones I have every tried. The air conditioning would blast freezing cold air for 5 minutes very loudly and then stop. The pillows are weird and oddly shaped. It is an ok stay if you're passing through and don't want to sleep in your car or if you're going to Disney for a special event (like we did) and you're only staying 2 nights.
