Niagara Falls, Ontario: Panoramic Views of the Falls near Vegas-Style Casinos and Water Parks

At Niagara Falls, water thunders downward from a height of nearly 200 feet, crashing onto craggy boulders below. The falls straddle the border between Canada and the United States, but the Canadian side of the Niagara River is universally hailed as the finest vantage point to take in all three of Niagara Falls' photogenic brinks: American, Bridal Veil, and Horseshoe Falls.

Hornblower cruises ferry raincoat-clad passengers around the base of the falls from April to October, depending on the river's ice conditions. Year-round, Journey Behind the Falls grants a glimpse behind the curtain of Horseshoe Falls—visitors board an elevator that descends 150 feet into the bedrock, then stand at an observation deck steps from the cascading water. A 10-minute walk from the falls is the neon-lit Clifton Hill neighborhood. Its Fallsview Boulevard has plenty of Vegas-style kitsch, including glitzy casinos and indoor water parks.

Room was clean and bright. The staff were very accommodating to ensure we were placed in the right room and close by to our friends under another reservation.

double charge on my credit card i'll give 0 star or negative star if i could; we booked 1 night around Niagara falls to do tourist with my friends who come visit me from oversea; they used my credit card for security/deposit purpose, fine~ Check -out the next day i used another credit card to pay but somehow they charged me the same room on both of my credit card; +$7 Fiji bottle water x2 fee i didn't even open it. i used almost 2 days to call hotel but no answer finally i filed complains letter to Ramada by Wyndham customer service then they give me another phone number to call. i finally got my extra charge room money credit but that $7 was gone with the wind. BTW, we waited at lobby almost 90mins on my check-in day with "door lock technical difficulty"; IHOP restaurant wait more than 90mins after we place breakfast order. (Go there is you're not hungry at all) please think twice if you try to book this hotel.

Adequate Room was adequate for a one night stay. Rooms are a bit tired. Beds just OK, TV small. Value priced in comparison to other hotels in the area. Staff were fantastic

Lots of parking The name says “Fallsview,” but you can’t really see the falls from this hotel. The rooms are very big, and the bed, pillows, and blankets are high quality. They charge $20 for parking, which is fair for that area, and there is lots of parking space. The building looks old inside and outside. The rooms and bathrooms need renovations. Breakfast is not included — you have to pay extra. Also, there is no fridge in the room. There is a swimming pool, which is nice if you’re visiting with kids or as a family. Customer service was okay, no complaints. The hotel is about a 3–4 minute drive to the falls. There’s a Tim Hortons nearby and many Indian restaurants in the area. The lobby is small and feels crowded. I think the price is a little high for what you get. Overall, it’s an average stay. I give it 3 stars.
