Orlando, Florida: World-Famous Theme Parks and Cultural Surprises

Located in the center of Florida, Orlando may be forever associated with the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks—the world’s most-visited entertainment resort. Spanning roughly 30,000 acres, it encompasses four theme parks, two water parks, five golf courses, and the Disney Springs® Area. There’s no shortage of things to do here: begin your day by boarding a rocket-shaped three-seater that climbs to 180 feet before entering a deep black tunnel and racing past stars, satellites, and constellations. Walk across the park to sample Moroccan cuisine for lunch, or ride a dune buggy through a haunted mansion. Before heading back to the hotel, take in the nightly fireworks, laser, and water show. One of the most popular family destinations in the world, sunny Orlando is also home to Universal Orlando—which includes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—SeaWorld, and Gatorland.

Those hoping to shake up the typical theme-park-dominated itinerary can head into downtown Orlando's vibrant arts district. The neighborhood boasts venues such as CityArts Factory, a multifaceted patchwork of gallery spaces, and SAK Comedy Lab, which hosts family-friendly improv shows five nights a week.

Rude shuttle driver. The hotel room was fine. The man driving the shuttle was rude and belligerent. We waited over 40 minutes for our ride and when he asked the question why didn’t we look happy we said because we had been waiting a long time. He replied there was tons of traffic And basically if we did not like it, we could not get in his van because he didn’t want to be disrespected. No one was cursing , no one was shouting. He could just tell from our expressions that we were not happy. He saidthat if we didn’t like it, he was not going to give us a ride. Unbelievable. He could tell we were old and tired so he could act how he wanted. Never ever had such treatment. Will never stay in a Ramada again if they hire and keep such people..

Very Poor, Staff not Friendly, No free parking When I checked in the front desk, Girl was very rude. Did not really acknowledge anything. Nor was she helpful. Even though their website says free parking, be aware it’s only for the night you cannot leave your car there. So I was there with my car to leave for a long weekend, and was not able to keep it there. I had to walk across the street to the Marriott, to see if I could self park there which they were very accommodating and I was able to park there, but it was pricey. It was the only option I had, though. My room was on the first floor. It was not very clean. The pillows were very hard. You also have to make reservations for the shuttle to take you to the airport. They will only allow 15 people on the shuttle. My flight left at 7:25 AM out of Orlando. The only option I had for shuttle was 4:45 AM or 5:30 AM. If you plan on taking their shuttle, I will call the day before to see if they will let you put your name on the reservation for the shuttle. All in all, I probably will not stay at this hotel again. Very disappointed.

Great location to mco airport Great location to mco airport, parking was pretty easy, lots of parking around the whole building. Room were nice, everything was very clean. beds are a little hard but most hotel beds are, plenty of space in room with microwave and mini fridge and sink, nice 4 seater table, pull out couch. Very nice. And literally 5 mins to airport, also tons of options for food and gas stations within the area.
