It has been the summer home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra since 1936. Lovely hotel. But the pool was out of commission and if you are using Groupon make sure to call ahead to make sure check in go's alot smoother

Amazing service, the manager on duty and the front desk guest representative was literally amazing! If I ever need to take a quick shopping trip or anything of that nature, I’ll be sure to remember this place! I planned the weekend specifically for my fiancee's bday to enjoy the hot tub and poolwhich was up and running 2 months earlier...just to find out they no longer have a pool and hot tub but are still advertising it on their website. When I called Groupon to try to cancel and book somewhere else I was given the run around and ultimately ghosted via chat. Weekend ruined!
