Hotel at a Glance: Resorts Casino Hotel

Nestled proudly on Atlantic City’s storied Boardwalk, Resorts Casino Hotel carries the weight of history with flair. Opened in 1904 as the elegant Chalfonte-Haddon Hall and transformed in 1978 into the very first American casino beyond Nevada, this venerable resort blends legacy with luxury. Guests step into a world where echoes of the Roaring Twenties mingle with modern sophistication—graced by Art Deco refinement, an expansive gaming floor, illustrious dining venues like Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville and LandShark Bar & Grill, and a vibrant spirit that honors its pioneering past.

At Resorts today, every stay resonates with the excitement of Atlantic City's golden age. The hotel boasts spacious towers, including the 27-story Rendezvous Tower added in 2004, and the original Ocean Tower, which houses the casino, spa, pool, theaters, shopping, and more. Each visit is a tribute to resilience, evolution, and Atlantic City’s enduring capacity for reinvention.

Worst Craps Dealers in Atlantic City RUDE, HARASS, UNPROFFESSIONAL I've been going to Resorts Hotel and Casino for over 15 years. I'm the highest-level card member, RED CARPET, and get comped for everything because of my play. I play craps and the dealers are rude, unprofessional, incompetent. I was harassed by a dealer named CORNELIUS on Saturday night. He kept calling me "SWEETHEART" in and I asked him numerous times to stop. The dealers are young kids who dance and sing while you are playing. They pay no attention to the game but only to distract. They have no idea has to payout winning bets. The customers actually have to tell them. They have personal conversations with each other as the game is going on. I've complained but they are short on dealers, so upper managements hands are tied. I would leave but my host is amazing and comps me for everything which I get through my play. I really hope someone can help me get this seen by the president/GM of Resorts. I'm sick of being disrespected and treated rudely by these awful dealers. If you are a serious craps player like me, STAY AWAY!

Sketchy and Smokey The non smoking floor stunk of smoke. Awful. And I got a dodgy call on the room phone, from someone who knew I’d asked for a housekeeping item, trying to steal my credit card.
