Golf Courses and Water Park on Gated Property Close to Theme Parks
Guests of Reunion Resort have easy access to Orlando’s theme parks and a slew of onsite activities. The resort has its own water park—complete with a 1,000-foot-long lazy river—and three 18-hole golf courses, each designed by a legend of the game: Tom Watson, Jack Nicklaus, and Arnold Palmer. Watson’s course reflects his love of British-style play with more than a dozen types of native grasses and rolling hills lined with azaleas and camellias. Nicklaus’s course cuts through a nature preserve and former citrus grove where wild turkeys and armadillos have been spotted among the pines.
The clubhouse, centrally located between two of the courses, is steps from the 11-story Reunion Grande tower, where estate villa suites can be found. Each has a private balcony and a fully equipped kitchen for in-room dining. The resort’s restaurants and snack bars provide numerous options for out-of-room dining. The Eleven lounge on the top floor specializes in American cuisine, but its major draws are handcrafted cocktails and a rooftop pool with views of Orlando.
