Great location close to the airport. Staff was friendly. Didn’t spend a lot of time in the room because we loved the beach, pool, and multiple activities offered by the entertainment staff throughout each day. BE AWARE, there is an $80 per night charge for any additional persons, which Groupon did not thoroughly explained by the Groupon representative. PLEASE venture off the resort!!

Montego Bay, Jamaica: Coastal City with Tropical Jungles and Vibrant Markets

Situated on Jamaica’s northwest coast, Montego Bay draws vacationers year-round with its temperate climate, clear waters, and postcard-perfect beaches. Just a short ways inland, freshwater rivers such as the Martha Brae cut through expanses of jungle and forested mountains, making for scenic rafting.

Years ago, Montego Bay was a thriving banana and sugar exporter. You’ll find remnants of the city’s past at Sam Sharpe Square, where cobblestone streets stretch past grand Georgian architecture and a cast-iron fountain donated by a former banana baron. The city’s dynamic “Hip Strip” buzzes with duty-free boutiques and lively flea markets hawking brightly colored textiles, carved wooden sculptures, and natural healing oils that double as cassette-tape lubricant.

Just got back from an amazing little getaway! The rooms were not impressive, the hotel was a little run down, but the service was the best. The staff made you feel like family. Greeted us by first name. Bar tenders have a heavy hand. The food was delicious! Met the best people out there and we are all planning to meet up again next year!

Predjudice at Decameron My experience with the staff drastically changed when a friend of mine visited me. I had been staying at the hotel prior to his arrival. He is a local, I am not. He visited me because I was celebrating my birthday, so instead of do a day pass, he opted to book a room and enjoy the hotels facilities as well. That’s when things all went sour. Because I am also male, most if not ALL MALE staff either out right refused to serve us: two male friends. Of course one can deduce that this would be as a result of extreme homophobia. But it is so wrong of them to assume that two friends can’t just enjoy each other’s company, have some drinks and eats, enjoy the beach and activities at the hotel. It got so bad that when we asked one of the female staff members at the Passa Passa restaurant for a male staff’s name who refused to serve us, she started begging that we pardon him. I absolutely hated this. It does nothing for the image of the hotel, that weak masculinity is at the front of the business. This post isn’t even about if me and my friend are gay or not. DO BETTER!

Best staff ever ! By far one of the best experiences of my life. Every staff member was so kind, thoughtful, respectful, outgoing, fun, and educational. The staff that Runs the events was so much fun with the entertainment all day. Huge thanks to Zoey, Sweetness, Fierce, Jay Jay, Freshh, Vanilla, Energy, MJ, Rose, Tuff Crackaz, and Sammy Bammy. You all make that hotel the most amazing experience of a lifetime. I truly want to thank all the staff for all the hard work you guys do every good and bad day. You all need a Raise for the outstanding hotel.

If you like staying at super 8 you’ll like be this place. This isn’t all inclusive…it’s a motel that serves food Room smelled like mold. Bed was dirty, you never see housekeeping remove bedding from the room. Pillows smelled sour. I didn’t change rooms cuz I was only there 2 days and slept on my own stuff. I caught security (red shirt) peeping in my window in middle of the day. Upon checkout no one came with a luggage cart. Food was mediocre.it’s like the cooks don’t even taste their cooking. Too salty to even be edible. Ate in the restaurant the second night, that food was worse than the buffet. Bartenders were great and the hostess at dinner was nice and she smiled!! The view and entertainment were probably the best part. I didn’t really do much after dark because the creepy security guard sat on a bench out side my door all night.
