Great bargain! My boyfriend and I came down for New Bedford First Night and stayed overnight. We had a room overlooking the harbor with a great view. The bed was very comfortable. The AC/heat was perfect and excellent water pressure in the shower. This place was a great bargain.

Would not come back Don't be fooled by the pictures advertised for this hotel. The rooms are much smaller and dated then shown. The beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom was gross with the vent covered in dust showing their housekeeping clearly doesn't do a good job. Our room was right next to the bar which was open until midnight with loud music blasting keeping us up later then we would have liked. Also the air conditioner would not stop turning off and on despite not reaching the right temperature which was another noisy annoyance. Our stay here was unpleasant and we would not return. I wish I had read the reviewed before I decided to book. The only positive was the location being near the ferry to nantucket.

Disappointed Convenient Location, Safron By The Sea restaurant and pool were the good parts. The bad were a noisy and musty room. Unlikely to return.

Disappointed and Disgusted The room smelled and felt musty/humid. The rubber base is pulling away from the wall, the towels have stains, and there is even a hole in a wall. Because of the waterfront bar and live music, there was also no parking when my kids and I came back from dinner. The lot was full from the locals at the bar. Since we were on the first floor, we had all the lights from cars coming and going all night. We could hear the band clearly, it was that loud, and the patrons were yelling outside our window and we hardly got any sleep. The gym was out of commission, signs claiming they are under renovation, and the advertised free breakfast is not a thing. I consider the $270 I spent a total waste. This isn’t a resort; it’s a low budget motel.

Horrible - save your money Hotel is disgusting and in disarray. Every towel in our bathroom was stained with blood or dirt. We asked for clean towels and those came stained as well. Room smelled like an ash tray, manager was never present and never answered calls
