No trip to Atlantic City is complete without a stroll along its signature boardwalk, which stretches for 6 miles along New Jersey's eastern coast. Originally built in 1870 to keep sand out of hotel lobbies, the boardwalk grew in popularity as a place where you could drink and gamble during Prohibition without much trouble from the police, as depicted in HBO's Boardwalk Empire. The boardwalk is still popular for its casinos, but it's family-friendly, too; visitors are just as inclined to sit at the beach or stop at one of the many carnival rides.
On the boardwalk, it's worth it to check out the Absecon Lighthouse, which is more than 150 years old. It's possible to climb its 228 steps to the top, which features sweeping views of the city skyline and the sea.

Great, but not excellent. The hotel is beautiful and very family oriented. It was a pleasure being able to walk out onto the boardwalk each night with my husband Daughter and my dog. Hotel is wonderful for dogs so your whole family could be together. The waterpark is amazing and there are so many games That gets to play all day and all night long. There was one downfall, we had to switch rooms two times because the tower we were in was very old smell like cigarettes and mold, however, after complaining for two days, they did move us to the other side of the hotel, which is newer, no carpeting, very clean and comfortable to sleep in. All in all, I would recommend this hotel for families. It’s a nice quick getaway and there’s fun and entertainment for everybody of all ages.

Horrible experience I called front desk few times and no answer. I wanted to cancel. Didn’t feel safe. Bed feel old and hard. Bathroom wall next to shower is with water and kind of mold. There were no hand soap. Everything look old. Door cabinet where fridge is doesn’t close. Closet door was hard to close. Pluck to connect phone on window side of bed is loose. Plug doesn’t stay in unless I push side bed cabinet. I complained to Expedia and the called but they were transferred to a phone that was always busy. I called the trip insurance I too to get reimburse but have to complete a firm and they will investigate the stay with you. Would never stay there ever again. Also kids and people next door were too loud screaming early morning. There is no sign to show at the door NOT TO DISTURB and service was knocking door.
