A Practical and Functional Option for Longer Stays am a frequent traveler and a Marriott Titanium Elite member, so I base my hotel reviews on both brand standards and my personal experiences. I recently stayed one night at StudioRes by Marriott in Fort Myers primarily to experience the brand for the first time. While my stay was brief, it is clear that this concept is designed for longer-term stays rather than short overnight visits. The room itself is basic but functional. There are very few extra amenities, and the design is straightforward and efficient. The bed was comfortable, the television was adequate, and there is a small kitchen area. One important note: while there is a kitchen, there are no utensils, cookware, or pots and pans provided in the room, which reinforces the extended-stay, budget-conscious positioning of the brand. There is a laundry basket in the room, and the property includes a shared community area with coffee and water, as well as a laundry room. These features further support its long-term stay focus. The location is convenient, with a Home Depot, Wawa, and McDonald’s within walking distance, making it practical for guests staying for work or relocation purposes. This is not a property to select if you are looking for Marriott Bonvoy elite benefits or a traditional hotel experience. Instead, it is clearly positioned as a more budget-friendly extended-stay alternative to brands like Residence Inn or TownePlace Suites. As long as the nightly rates are appropriately lower than those brands, StudioRes achieves its intended goal. Overall, I would rate this property a 4 out of 5 based on its brand expectations. It delivers a clean, practical, and cost-conscious option for longer stays, provided the pricing aligns with its positioning.

Does not count towards Elite Night Credit StudioRes is a Marriott brand hotel found in their app when booking a room. However, nights stayed there do not count towards nights credited towards your Marriott Bonvoy status. The points are awarded, but not the actual nights stayed. Not only that, it felt cheap and just not up to the usual Marriott standard. I will never choose to stay at a StudioRes again,

Don't stay here if you want a kitchen or in-room coffee maker This hotel is bare bones. They do have a refrigerator, a cooktop that did not work a microwave, but No utensils, no dishes, no glasses, no coffee maker, no shampoo, no conditioner, no pictures on the walls, just a white room with white sheets and blankets. I would never stay in this hotel again. What good is a kitchen in a hotel if you have to bring your own dishes and pots?? When I booked this - it said there was a kitchen... who thinks that there would be absolutely nothing else! To make it worse - the cooktop didn't even work! Terrible. Don't stay here.
