So-so stay The staff was helpful and friendly. Checking in was easy and checking out was even easier. There were a couple of problems. We requested a king bed when we made the reservation and only two double beds were available at check in. We requested a refrigerator and coffee kit - which are an extra charge. They were to be delivered to the room and it didn’t happen until we made another phone call 7 hours later. The pool was closed the first day we were there due to lack of staff. We were given a resort credit but it was a big disappointment. The pool was only open from 10-5 so there were no night swims. There was also no hot tub. The Yard House restaurant had a really good happy hour. That was the only restaurant we visited on site. The room was clean but dated. There were no ports for electronic devices. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo. The blankets on the bed were old and worn. The bed was comfortable. Overall our stay was ok. We will look for other options before we come back again.

Frustrating Experience with Room Accommodation. Not Flexible or Understanding. Would Not Stay Again. Used Expedia to book two rooms. Message sent to hotel for adjoining rooms. Message received stating it was from Sunset Station that adjoining rooms - one with king and the other with two queens - were set up. Get to hotel and informed no guarantee and message received was that from Expedia (acting as Sunset?) and that there was no guarantee in rooms (message should not have said the accommodation request was "set up" rather should have said "will try to...accommodate" then. Next discussed willing to pay for an upgrade to a suite for one room if meant could be adjoining with a standard room. However, informed only adjoining rooms available were suites. Asked if paid for one upgrade could the other be included to get the adjoining but no, it would cost me another $150 USD for two upgrades for the two nights. This was an unreasonable cost for our group so requested if could cancel the second night so we could find another more suitable accommodation but that wouldn't be considered either. So looking to take the loss and pay for another more suitable accommodation. Other nitpicking things: decided to pay for rental coffee maker which was delivered to room but without any coffee or condiments. So that was another follow up. Rooms are very inconvenient to casino and other amenities. Pool (no hot tub) open minimal inconvenient hours 10-5. The shower took 4-5 minutes before hot water came through. A very disappointing experience and too much time trying to address things taking away from our vacation. We will definitely not be staying here in future. We loved the bingo but our experience with hotel staff left a sour taste for our experiences in other parts of the casino.

disappointed, disrespectful, go somewhere else I never thought I’d have to write this, but my experience at Sunset Station on September 15th was deeply upsetting. I’ve lived in Green Valley/Henderson for many years and always considered this a locals’ spot to relax and play. That night started out enjoyable, but it quickly turned into one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a casino. Out of nowhere, the pit boss singled me out. Without explanation, I was intimidated, threatened by security, and ultimately told to leave the property. I was not causing trouble, I was not being disruptive — I was simply playing and enjoying my night. Being treated this way, after years of supporting this casino, was humiliating and completely unjustified. I recommend Green Vally Ranch, Barley’s or South point over this place… terrible experience truly

Resort fee to high Average stay, no fridge in the rooms, unless you want to pay $10 a day for one, even though your paying $45 a day resort fee, good casino, but needs to be better eateries in there.

No go First off, It’s a NO go for me. The hotel indicated “remodeled rooms” all while the bathrooms are locked in the 70’s: old toilets, tile, shower heads broken, doors and walls were warped, I guess smoking is back in casinos. Smelled horrific in there…customer service from valet/ outdoor loading. Lady at registration was nice, bellman was nice. The restaurant Brass & Fork had a nice menu, fair prices but the staff is terrible! Not welcoming at all. The Italian restaurant was awesome! Great service! Staff was amazing! Every single person at that restaurant was unbelievably kind. Quality, authentic Italian. As all casinos now in Vegas area have high min bet tables. We did not see anything lower than $10 minimum bet. The rest of the tables at this casino were $25 and up. We had fun gambling because we had no choice but to go with the $10 minimum. “AD” craps dealer was awesome! Look for his table. Makes it fun and easy!!
