Awesome family trip First, I would like to say this establishment Is great from check in to the room everything is good. The only complaint I have is that the pool was too warm as the ocean was too. There were not enough umbrellas in the pool area. But beside that I will be back and definitely recommend this place. The bar onsite and the restaurant is great I would like to see the restaurant to stay open later than 5pm. Also let customer know that the restaurant delivers foods to the room.

Treasure Island, FL: Sun-Soaked Shores With a Storied Past

A coastal gem steeped in legend and sunshine, Treasure Island, Florida, lives up to its evocative name with pristine white sand beaches stretching nearly four miles along the Gulf of Mexico. Located in Pinellas County just west of St. Petersburg, this barrier island blends the nostalgic charm of Old Florida with a vibrant, contemporary spirit. Its name harks back to a clever 1915 marketing ploy when property developers claimed to uncover hidden chests of gold—an imaginative tale that still adds a layer of intrigue to this sun-drenched enclave. Today, its boardwalks, beach bars, and sunset vistas continue to lure travelers seeking both serenity and stimulation along Florida’s legendary Gulf Coast.

Treasure Island’s identity is inseparable from its waterfront culture and community legacy. The island is home to quiet residential neighborhoods, eclectic shops, and events that reflect its deep ties to regional heritage. Not far from the bustle of Tampa Bay, it offers a relaxed pace of life underscored by warm hospitality and an enduring connection to the sea. From annual sand sculpture festivals that draw international artists to fishing piers that recall generations of coastal living, Treasure Island captures the soul of a place that treasures both its natural gifts and the stories that shaped its name.

undisclosed charge at check-in $400 extra we booked the hotel for five nights while I was getting ready to move in for college. We paid $1170 at booking. The website Expedia said that we only had to pay $125 at check-in which was fine. Tell me why when we get there, We are not notified that there needs to be a $400 authorized hold on our card in case of any “incidentals.” We authorized it, and the money was immediately taken out and it’ll say pending. This is completely unfair. The lady then tells us that every hotel did this. No, every hotel I have been through has taken our card information and after we check out, they go throughout the room and charge our card if anything was ruined. They do not authorize the hold that takes out the money immediately out of our bank account. That is money that we need for the college moving. We also came here in May and this wasn’t the case whatsoever. There was no hold and they just kept a credit card information in case of anything. Then we Asked for a side beach view, hotel room, and received the worst view ever with the view of the beach if you squint. On the southside. Most of the beach view is blocked by other buildings. So to charge us that much and then charge us an additional $400 is outrageous. That is money that we need. room looks dated and so does the decor. Balcony is tiny. Room is much smaller than the one on the north side that we had last time

Checkout surprise Booked 3 rooms on July 8 through your 800# for 75th family birthday celebration. Never requested ADA room and thought I was booking 3 two bedroom gulf view suites. Should have been told one was ADA but more frustrated at the $79 additional cost each for the other 2 rooms. Suppose it's my fault for not looking closer when I got the booking confirmation, but shame on you for not making an effort at checkout to address my concern. You could have at least offered to meet me in the middle on price with a credit right there on my $2100 bill. I will share my experience on every social media platform I can find you on.

Mostly great! I really enjoyed the room- having 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen was amazing, and the beach was very close. The a/c was also VERY good. I'm always hot and had no problem cooling down. I had a Gulf-facing room so I could see my teenagers on the beach while I was working. There was a washer and dryer, which was a nice surprise and allowed me to get all our laundry cleaned on the morning of our last day- such a time saver for someone who is obsessed with emptying suitcases and doing laundry as soon as they get home. The room was great, however, it was on the 2nd floor, right above the bar. This made for some very loud times while we were trying to relax in the room. If I had small children, hearing the cursing and drunk behavior would have been a deal breaker, but as I said, my kids are teens. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, after all, these people were just having fun at the beach, but if I had small kiddos with me- next time, I would ask for a room far from the bar and on a higher floor. I also hated my parking space- it was against the wall of the bar, with a support wall to the other side. A gigantic Yukon Dinali was across from us, and it made it so I had to do a 3-5 point turn to get in and out of my space. Lastly, I knew when booking the room that I would have to work, but the hotel stated that they had wifi. The wifi did not connect to my PC from the room. It required a 5-minute walk to the front office with my computer open EVERY TIME I wanted to connect. Not. Ideal. Overall, I was very happy and would book again. Honestly, if they had taken off even a small amount from the bill for the inconvenience of the wifi, I would have been completely satisfied and probably wouldn't have even thought to include the issue in this survey. Instead, I was told, "Well, no one else is having that problem." Doesn't mean that I wasn't!

Sunset Vistas Vacation This hotel is an excellent option for families, friends, couples etc. The 2 bedroom suite I rented was the angled ocean view that offered beautiful sunset views. It was very modern with 2 bathrooms, a dishwasher and a washer and dryer and also a TV in every room which was perfect. The Cafe makes the food fresh, I ordered a salad and was pleasantly surprised to see him start cutting a fresh head of lettuce.
