Is the spa room the one with the mineral sulfur water or fresh water?

A:

All of the hot tubs on property have mineral water. The sulfur smell that some of the tubs have is not an indication of how mineral rich the water is, or even how much sulfur the water has. The spa suite: has the highest mineral content as well as the highest sulfur content on property. The tub will not have a strong sulfur odor however due to the chemistry of the water. The spa room: has the second highest mineral content and a low sulfur content. The tub will have a strong sulfur aroma again due to the chemistry of the water--because there are less minerals to interact with the sulfur. I apologize, you wouldn't need to contact groupon to change dates. You would cancel your initial booking and then rebook for what ever alternative date you wanted.

Hello! What dates are available for the month of June or July in order to take advantage of the Groupon offer? It's a bit confusing - clicking a a date on either the June or July calendar allows a pop-up that states a different price than what the Groupon deal states, AND that the date is not available. Please clarify...thank you!

Sorry for the confusion. Not all nights will show this price, as some dates will sell out and other nights are more expensive. You can preview the price of any night by hovering your mouse over the date. You can check for available dates with the calendar on the deal page. Simply scroll your cursor over your desired date. If the date is available, it will show you that night's rate. If the date is not available, it will be grey or say "Not available for check-in."

We are thinking of coming but taking the train instead of driving... how close to the train station are you and is there a local shuttle or taxi service? Or do you recommend we drive... not familiar with the area. Thanks!!!

A:

Amtrak has a special car free discount for travelers coming to this area so I recommend inquiring about that! The train station is ~7 miles from the resort. There is cab service available or depending on when you are arriving we may be able to provide you with shuttle service (must be arranged in advance). One word of caution however, for evening time transportation the cab companies in the area are not very reliable as they tend to favor serving the downtown bar crowd in San Luis Obispo.
