A:

After you purchase you'll be able to cancel your reservation for a full refund as long as you do so at least 72 hours prior to your check-in time. Once canceled your reservation can not be rescheduled.

Does the hotel offer shuttle pick up from the Oakland Airport?

Hi. A couple of questions: 1. I pay Groupon/Expedia for the room once I select this deal, yes? But any fees, like a facility fee and a parking fee are charged by and paid directly to the hotel after check-in? 2. Is there tax on the room, or is it just $139 (for the Classic room). If there is tax, what is the percentage? 3. If we opted for the upgrade to the Distinctive room, which type is it? (The hotel website lists partial and full Bay views, and there may be additional types I didn't see.) 4. I see the dates cannot be changed after booking, but if I cancel 72 hours or more before check-in, I CAN cancel for a full refund? 5. If for some reason the hotel cannot accommodate my selected dates and room type, then I am eligible for a full refund? Thank you very much for your help.

A:

14.065% tax will be added to your Groupon and payed as soon as you complete your purchase. A $26 per day resort fee will be due at check-in with the hotel. Upgrades to their Distinctive room can be accommodated for an additional $30 per night, a spa elite room for an additional $60 per night, a studio suite for an additional $90 per night, or a one bedroom for an additional $150 per night. This must be arranged with the hotel after your purchase. After you purchase you'll be able to cancel your reservation as long as you do so at least 72 hours prior to your check-in time. Once canceled your reservation can not be rescheduled.

Occupants can be added past their standard occupancy of 2 for $35 per person per night. You can not exceed their maximum occupancy of 4.

So I'm clear on a stay for two, with dates through August, I can book a date in July and on a weekend with no restrictions? and if I want to upgrade to a Spa Elite Room its an additional $60 or $199 per night or a studio suite for an additional $90 or $229 per night?

Yes, all guests will count towards occupancy. Maximum occupancy for the Groupon room is 4, you'll be unable to exceed this maximum.
