Not recommended I would not recommend this hotel at all. By far one of my worst experiences in a hotel. When we arrived we waited for one hour to check in. There were so many people and so much noise. The queues for the elevators was endless and a long waiting time. Later we realized some people had gotten stuck in the elevator. We wanted to take the stairs and it was like a maze finding our way. No clear way to go. I don’t even want to think about what would happen if there should be a fire in the building. The stairs were not kept and they were dirty. You could smell urine and pot. Anyone can come in to the hotel and to the stairs at anytime so I assume homeless people are using stairs to stay.
There were dirty towels from previous guests in the closet. There was a lot of dust and not clean in the bathroom. They made only one out of two beds when they checked in on the room during the second day.
I’ve been to many hotels but this was by far my worst experience

Enjoyed an amazing ocean view for my three night stay July 17- 20, 2025. A wonderful short walk to board walk with great access to the beach. The pillows were fluffy soft and bed mattress pretty good, did not wake up with a backache. The nostalgic feel and old world charm of the Claridge was nice! I looked forward to visiting again. Friendly hotel staff and service.

It was the worse hotel I have ever been to. As soon as we arrived the AC was not working. Engineering finally came to fix it. We waited until 1:30 in the morning for towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. We asked for a wake up.call but never received it. Their soap was so tiny . We had to use about five of them to take a shower. The place was not safe. There were homeless people in bathrooms and floors. Don't come here. It might s the worse hotel I have ever been to.
