Don’t sleep on this spot Everything from the location to the service was 5/5. From the beginning, Alex with the front desk was beyond accommodating in assisting me from changing my reservation and room needs as the number of people in our party changed.
Check in was a breeze - the rooms are gorgeous, well-equipped, and the bathroom in the suites is gorgeous! Coffee stations on every floor and water refilling bottles made a big difference each morning.
The restaurant and tap room were great- everything we ordered was yummy. Breakfast in the am was perfect.
Beyond the hotel itself, all of the available activities nearby amazed us. The shuttle for a red rocks concert we attended was 100% worth the money; the myriad of trails from the doorstep kept us busy all day; the creek behind was the perfect spot for tubing (which sadly we didn’t get to do but looked so much fun)
Can’t wait to go back.

Great Place to stay in Golden CO Great stay at the Eddy Tap Room in Golden Colorado. It's a very unique boutique hotel with an urban cozy feel. Great atmosphere. It definitely is a small property and would have been nice to have a pool, but they have ebikes and mountain bikes to go out and explore. A nice breakfast is included with your stay, breakfast burritos and omelets and the usual continental breakfast, bagels toast oatmeal cereal waffles etc. The only unusual thing is that they did not have decaf coffee at all during our stay!
Another nice touch was the coffee/latte machines on each floor. Such a cool idea! Although no decaf in those machines either:(
The food for lunch and dinner is very good. The summer golden salad is outstanding! The hummus crudité tray is delicious. The food truck had a great menu, but it was not open during our stay.
The rooms were a nice size and nicely appointed. It's a fairly new hotel so everything is new and clean. The cleaning crew did miss our room the first day, but they were busy, and it didn't happen again for the rest of our stay.
Wade and Sheila at the front desk are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Always a pleasure to speak to.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Golden. It is the best newer place to stay if you are in that area. I would not have stayed anywhere else.

Unique hotel with lots of perks This is such a unique hotel! Starting with a beer sample from the desk at check in to the incredible coffee stations on each floor. Loved hanging out on the roof patios enjoying the scenery with great ambience with the gas fire rocks. It was my second stay and will return again when in the area. Friendly staff and immaculate rooms.

Perfect venue for rehearsal dinner My (now) husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Eddy Taproom & Hotel earlier this month. We had a cocktail style buffet dinner on the East Rooftop for about 50 guests, and it was absolutely perfect. We wanted something that was a bit more casual than a sit-down dinner where our guests could mingle and chat throughout the evening, and the Eddy delivered. From initially working with Jamie on the planning and vision of the event and then with Dani on the finalizing of the menu, we always felt taken care of and like the team truly cared. During the event, Blake, Leslie, and the entire banquet staff were so attentive, always checking to see if anyone needed anything. And the FOOD! More guests than I can count either told me during the dinner or sent messages later raving about the food. The BBQ was top-notch! Thank you to the Chef and the entire kitchen team for building a delicious menu that also accommodated multiple dietary restrictions.

Great basecamp for your Golden, Colorado adventures Took a chance on the Eddy based on multiple positive online reviews and this place did not disappoint! Our trip was in the summer and the roll-up doors between the patio and the restaraunt/bar gave this place a wonderful open feel. A yummy continental breakfast, tasty dinner menu, broad set of taps with local brews, and a super fun and attentive staff made starting and finishing every day here absolutely the best. Rooms are decorated in a modern industrial fashion and are super comfortable and spacious. Clean linens, plenty of pillows, and good in-room seating really made our stay feel almost like home. The only negative I experienced was that road noise from the nearby highway is present and can be heard at night or morning especially when a trucker Jake-brakes or a hog blasts by but turning the A/C unit fan to always on masked it well. Definitely plan to return here on my next trip.
