Great place to stay in Walla Walla, Washington The Finch is a lovely, fun, and quirky hotel in Walla Walla. It is spotlessly clean, and the AC and Wifi worked beautifully. It is an easy walk to Whitman College and to the downtown restaurants. I will be happy to return. Very helpful staff.

Stay at a new modern hotel in downtown Walla Walla with Wi-Fi, an outdoor patio with a wood-burning fireplace, and local guides.

What You Get

  • Settle in for a stylish stay for two - choose from a comfy King Room, sleek FINCH King, or the cozy-chic Micro Queen!

Walla Walla, Washington: Wine and Art in One of the Best Small Towns in America

July 29, 2022: The Walla Walla Valley was voted America’s Best Wine Region for an unprecedented third consecutive year. Unsurprisingly, "the town so nice they named it twice" won out in the "friendliest" category. The best way to get to know such a welcoming place might be to head to Main Street. There, you can admire public artworks and pop into antique shops and restaurants. There are more than 130 wineries in the area, most of which have their own tasting rooms.

There's sophisticated entertainment to match visitors' sophisticated palates, too. The Walla Walla Symphony is the longest-running symphony west of the Mississippi, and the Gesa Power House Theatre, once a gas plant, is now the preferred venue of Shakespeare Walla Walla theater company.

Thanks to Walla Walla's location near the Blue Mountains, there's plenty for outdoor enthusiasts as well. Cycling trails, some as long as 50 miles, run throughout the town. In the winter, they can head to Ski Bluewood's slopes, located a little more than an hour away from downtown.

Perfect stay We came to drop off our Whitman student. Jason was very accommodating even before we arrived. He kindly notified me that my package that I sent ahead was there at the front desk. Check in was warm and friendly and subsequent mornings were consistently cheerful. We reserved two rooms and Jason made sure they were close to each other with an upgrade :) We’ll be back for the next few years!

Centrally located comfort with community vibe Centrally located comfort with community vibe, spacious rooms, motel style, nice amenities & decor. Only knock: No iron, reusable cups always make me concerned over their cleanliness/how cleaned, would prefer disposable cups for water.
